Location is great, no more than five minutes walk from the airport .... room was comfortable, as was the bed. Despite the close proximity to the airport there was no noise. Big plus is that they do room service, so breakfast in my room - TBH it could have been hotter but I think that's the price you have to pay to avoid people in the morning. Late checkout also very helpful. I would definitely come here again if I needed to stay at the airport - plus the express bus to the city centre virtually on the doorstep - the express costs £10, so if there are more than two of you I suggest a tax; but I think there's a slower and cheaper option available.

The only thing might be if they had found a way to deliver a hot cooked breakfast to my room (maybe a dome on the plate?) but that's a quibble. They were also in the process of re-jigging their information menu on the TV so I couldn't access info for room service number; and the phone did not work. Think these are both temporary issues but it might have been good to have been told.. That said, the staff was wonderful.

Reception staff very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Our room was lovely,clean and comfortable, bed was very comfortable,had an excellent sleep. Plenty of hot water for shower,good sized towels,powerful hairdryer available. I gave the room 9 marks out of ten, 1 mark deducted because there were no ordinary tea bags there. Enjoyed our breakfast before we set off on our flight.Breakfast staff very helpful,showed us where to find all we required for our breakfast.

We had dinner in the dining room about 8pm,service by dining room staff a bit slow, food was tasty, peppercorn sauce was late in arriving,and it was not hot enough,but it amazed me how the tables were left uncleared of used plates and cutlery. I have plenty of experience in the hospitality trade and I could not understand why staff were not dealing with this immediately. The list of soft drinks was very limited, we asked for Fanta orange ,but not available.

Staff were extremely helpful, particularly when my daughter was taken ill in the night and we needed to change the bed at 2am. The food was good and including a child's dinner for free was an excellent bonus. The breakfast selection was good and the bacon well-cooked, with the restaurant area well looked after.

The room seemed a bit tired, the chain for the bath plug was broken, the grout was black in places and the shower took an age to supply hot water and then kept alternating between tepid and scalding and seemed to respond only minimally to the mixer control. The main light in the bathroom flicked off and back on every few seconds for no apparent reason and there did not seem to be sockets near to the beds - surely a must these days.

Its closer proximity to the airport served me well - less than 3 minutes walk from the terminal. The rooms are comfortable. A very understanding receptionist upgraded to an executive after i had had a horrific noisy night where 1st floor doors couldn't stop slamming - hence being kept awake.

Door closers on most doors on the first floor seemed to have loosened up. So doors slam so so hard which makes it impossible to sleep decently as guests come in and out of their rooms. So the noise and banging in excruciating when trying to catch sleep.

Super location of the hotel , directly opposite the airport terminal entrance. Very pleasant staff and spotlessly clean room.

If you are travelling with a car, it is very hard to find the entrance as you must access the hotel via the entrance to a high-rise car park and the location of the barrier to the hotel parking area is not displayed. If, as in my case, you miss the entrance, you must proceed into the multi-storey and pay £5 to exit as it is a one way system. Proper signage is a necessity.

Excellent location right across from the terminal building and with great access to buses to and from the city centre. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was comfortable - a little on the small side but fine for one night. Very quiet considering the close proximity to the runways.

The bathroom was quite small, but again fine for a short stay. The hallways are a bit tired and in need of a refresh although the main common areas - reception, bar, lobby etc - are nice.

Great location that allowed us to quicky return the car the next morning and get to our flights. The breakfast was very nice and the staff also quite pleasant. The rooms feel a bit run down and are a tad small, but they do have a desk and a lounge chair. We would stay here again.

There are two Holiday Inns near the airport. This one is a bit of a challenge to find. Be sure that you have the address in your GPS and not just think you are going to a Holiday Inn at the airport. Because we arrived very late we did not return the car, but not sure how easy it woud be to walk from the car rental to this hotel given the many roads around the airport. It might be possible.

Flying into Glasgow airport it just takes about 5 minutes to walk from airport to hotel. Can use an airport trolley to take your luggage to the hotel, then return trolley.

Upon picking up a rental car at Budget at the airport it was very difficult to return to hotel. Directions confusing. There is also airport parking at the hotel. There is a barrier at entrance to hotel. Also if you have guest visiting you while you are staying there, for example a meal, the hotel will validate their parking ticket if under an hour. Otherwise they charge you. I think it was 10 pounds.

The Holiday Inn, Glasgow Airport is still our preferred Airport Hotel being only 50m from the Airport entrance. Over the seasons we've tried almost all of the Airport Hotels but the Inn is our first choice primarily because of location, price and reliable wi-fi. With excellent parking, bag drop facilities, and a well balanced menu our stay was excellent value for money.

Sorry to say but the room was poorly lit especially repacking in the limited light for an early morning flight.

The location was perfect for our early morning flight. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable .

The pavement that leads to the side entrance of the holiday inn that runs parallel to the road of in front of the airport turns into gravel/ dirt track path making it very difficult to wheel your suitcase cleanly without jamming the wheels of your suitcase. The alternative is to wheel your suitcase on the road to the zebra crossing where it then becomes a health and safety issue and hazardous with on coming traffic. I feel this needs some attention .
