Whenever we travel to Paisley, home town, my wife and I , or on my own; unfortunately i made an error with my large fingers while booking the stay; a trivial error that makes me question some thi gs around the company, not the staff or the Excellent service such errors, by not returning ninety seven pounds, i know this is a polucy however i had to then find another room in town at the West end guest house, I think i stayed in the Flippin Austen Powers Room of that establishment i believe. Menral room. Lol again for around 97 pounds. But. Above everything: I love staying there staff are excellent as as i've seen, rooms are what you'd expect of this fantastic building, comfortable beds excellent showers.

Parkings tight. Due to the location. But the beer gardens enormous. Just an observation. 🤣

Twin room was quite snug and the pub drum machine music a little noisy however room was comfortable & very reasonably priced, local street parking opposite the pub very easy, staff friendly & helpful & food good. A very convenient place to stay on our journey north - easy to find, half a mile from Paisley & short drive to Hawkhead train station where we parked for free & got a train into Glasgow (they run every half hour) for a very reasonable £3 return. The Abbey Inn is an excellent base for exploring the area.

The Abbey Inn is a well used local pub so can be a bit noisy - but it was quiet by bedtime.

For a solo traveler the room was a good size, large bed. All the extras in the room Breakfast was cooked to order and plenty of it.

As the rooms are above a sports bar, can be a bit noisy until late. Earplugs are provided, didn't help much

Chain pub with super clean rooms and friendly staff. The presence of two pairs of ear plugs by the bedside suggested it might have been noisy, but it was quiet on the (Tuesday) night of my stay. On site car park was available and it was convenient, for a business traveler, not to have to go out for food and drink. Very large bathroom area seemed bigger than the sleeping area.

I couldn't get the shower to work, but the staff verified it was working. My evening meal, veg chilli burger, was overcooked and not to my taste. Not a fan of the fake grass in the roadside beer garden. Sticky tables in the bar area.

We used the hotel as a stop-over to break the journey up to northern Scotland. Good location for that. The room was warm and clean. The bed for comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. We booked a double but were given a family room - plenty of space for bags etc. Noise could be heard from the pub, but only very faintly, and only until around midnight.

The room was a little pricey but breakfast was included. Not a lot of parking available for guests as it is not separately reserved from the pub users. Free parking found but quite some way up the road, which wasn't ideal with suitcases.

Lovely place to stay, rooms were comfortable and warm. Stayed in a single occupancy room which was plenty spacious and bed was comfortable. Ate at the pub downstairs one evening, was comfortable and good atmosphere (even while football match was on tv). Noise from the pub hardly noticeable from the room, and free ear plugs were provided by the hotel which I didn't use but my mum in the room next door did. She is extremely sensitive to sound when trying to sleep but had good sleep all 3 nights we stayed (Thurs-Sat)

Parking very limited, only 7 spots on site so unable to park Friday night when I got back at 8pm (it's a busy pub/restaurant) but was easy enough to park nearby within view of the Inn. Not ideal but not a drama.

Great location, hotel was clean and tidy. Nice extra touches of sweet treats in the room along with plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries. Staff were pleasant and accommodating and breakfast was filling and tasty.

The only 2 suggestions for me would be that for 2 people it would be nice for 2 hand towels. There was a green light in the ceiling, I'm not sure if it was a smoke detector or similar, however it illuminated the room in the dark which on a personal taste of preferring the dark made it a little harder to get to sleep.

We had a fabulous overnight stay at The Abbey. Loved the sparkly stags wallpaper. Rooms were lovely, modern and clean with a Scottish Theme. Comfy beds. Hot shower. Loved the complimentary Tunnocks teacakes. Steak and drinks from the restaurant was great. Saturday night DJ playing requests. Fun atmosphere. Staff really friendly.

I didn't dislike anything but if you enter via the side door to check-in you are unsure where to go. But there is a check-in sign in front of the main bar area entrance.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfy.

get I checked in in the evening and went down to order dinner. The restaurant closed at nine but this was half eight, plenty of time. I asked the member of staff to place my order but he kept getting sidetracked and that half hour window was shrinking. In the end I didn't get my food, I had to go elsewhere. This really is the only bad point of the Abbey Hotel. The bar is lovely, the rooms are modern and clean and they have a huge beer garden which is a plus

This is the third time I have stayed here and always been great. Rooms are always lovely and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are good too. Will definitely continue using this as my regular go to hotel in Paisley.

There isn’t anything that I didn’t really like, the only thing I would say is on a Friday and Saturday expect it to be a little loud as stated by the pub on their listing. But the noise really didn’t bother me at all and once the entertainment is finished the rooms are very peaceful.
