Breakfast, bed.

Staff person on Saturday morning took information from me regarding light bulbs out in the room, but did tell me that maintenance staff was not available to replace lightbulbs. 2 of 3 lights in the bathroom were out. When I returned in the evening expecting light, I found the same dark, poorly lit bathroom. No work had been done. However, the Saturday evening staff person saved the day. Not only did he explain the matter but personally found the correct replacement light bulbs and replaced them for me. Great recovery! I appreciate that he listened, seemed concerned, acted concerned and took it upon himself to resolve the matter. This is made an impression on me. He knows that "little things" matter.

Online check-in, everything ready for my arrival, recognised as a previous guest, room spotless, welcome note and biscuits in room, quiet and comfortable room. Reception and Housekeeping staff all friendly and genuinely tried to help. Car park was treated in very icy conditions, express check-out made departure smooth, hassle free. This is my 3rd stay when in Glasgow and I'll definitely be back.

Only one lift working, this is still the case since my November stay! Gets busy and long wait at busy times - breakfast and morning departure. Bathrooms getting a bit tired, could do with a refresh, BUT everything clean and works. Please, please clean the plugs of previous guests hair, etc.? Please check ALL buttons on tv remote work

The best thing was that the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is people and the way they make you feel that matters so much, and the staff here were great. They responded extremely promptly when we had a problem with our shower not stopping and the person on duty and the maintenance man were there very fast. The lady who serviced the rooms could not have been nicer, and she had even left a welcoming note and some small gifts of a soft drink and tunocks teacake, etc. On our last morning we were unsure about whether my sister would be discharged or not so your staff just made the checkout time later and, because of the circumstances did not charge us.we left as soon as we knew. We like that servicing the rooms is by request, and you just had to ask for additional supplies of anything. It brought a moment of pleasure, esp. good given my sister was having an operation the next day. Having a fridge in the bedroom was brilliant, both for milk and my insulin. The proximity to the M&S convenience store was very helpful. The location by the lovely pond and so near the hospitals is perfect. The breakfast had a good range of options.

The restaurant menu was a little expensive given the portion size, and it was hard for me to find a suitable low carbohydrate meal for my diabetes. We understand that it is a set menu and think it would be good if the local chef could produce their own menu. It could be a selling point for Leonardos. The one meal I ordered was too small it resulted in us eating out elsewhere, which we might have done anyway as it's nice to go out sometimes, butbit did clinch it. The fried egg were a little dry, I wonder if a cover would help ( I don't know if it would, but the heat lamps dried them, I think). The hotel was just fine and the staff the most important thing

I am ABSOLUTELY thrilled with the wonderful service from the staff at the hotel. I arrived WAY earlier than intended, and they offered to keep our luggage while they attempted to get run ready for us for an earlier check in. We did that, and wandered up to Anniesland for a couple hours. When we returned, Scott was an absolute delight and my young son was over the moon with the sweets he was given! The room was bright and clean and I was thankful the window was kept open for our arrival. I love fresh air wafting through a space. We had everything we needed.

The temperature changed a couple times at the start of my shower and that was a bit alarming LOL. We also couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV, but in reality we didn't need it.

Having read mixed reviews prior to arriving we were a bit sceptical, however our room was reasonably large clean with a large comfortable bed. It was nice that there was tea and coffee facilities etc. There was an iron and also a safe within the room , however we were unable to use the safe as this was locked on our arrival !!! We could have reported but didn’t as we were there only for one night.

You can tell that this is an older hotel by the condition of the carpeting in the corridors and the room, which if were professionally cleaned would lift the appearance throughout the hotel. Saying that the room was warm and comfortable. If I had wanted 5 star services then obviously I should have gone to a 5 star hotel !!!

The hotel is just in front of a beautiful lake with swans, and there's a Mark's Spencer in front as well. The breakfast was amazing, there were all the traditional options for a big English breakfast on the hot menu, then you have options with yogurt and granola with all the sides for it, as fruits, nuts etc, and gluten free breads and vegetable milks for intolerants, I loved it. The decoration of the room was typical Scottish, interesting and nice. Very cozy. The hotel is modern and cosy.

Whatever, I didn't like the shower, which was suddenly getting extremely hot sometimes when I was already showering at the same temperature. The bed was ok, but the pillows are hard. The location is fine, it is a bit far from the city centre, but not much.

I had a superior room that was available at the same cost of the standard room and it was amazing, I couldn't believe how spacious it was! Also loved the touch of putting the welcome package of the cans Irn Bru and tunnocks biscuits in the room and the message, really brought a smile to my face! I had a really good sleep in the bed too, cosy but not too hot and stuffy.

I had a slight difficulty in turning my shower/bath tap back off after I showered,I just couldn't figure it out then it suddenly worked.i would have called for help if I'd needed it and I'm sure they would have sorted it out. The decor was a little dated, but the room was clean which was more important to me. Felt a little like it would have been a luxury room in the past!

All the staff were friendly and went over and above. Especially the manager Robbie, when we complained he rectified the cleaning issue by cleaning the stain on the divan with a cloth and spray that he scrubbed clean and also he gave us both a complimentary drink each. The morning staff, especially Liam was very accommodating and gave us service with impeccable manners.

On checking in, our hotel room was dirty on arrival, cleanliness was an issue mainly a stain on the divan, dust on electrical appliances/ plugs, mirrors not polished, the safe was full of dust., coffee stains in the bathroom. But on complaining our main issue was resolved.

The staff were very nice. The room was a little tired but very clean. Comfortable and warm and the breakfast was very nice each morning. It was perfect for our needs. Great for going into town by bus and visiting Bearsden to visit with our new grandchild. Altogether a very nice stay.

There was torn wallpaper in the room and the window was very difficult to close. The water supply to the basin and shower was intermittent at times. The hotel needs upgrading but this is the case with many places these days. At nearly £500 for 3 nights bed and breakfast it could have been better.

The staff were all friendly and helpful . From the reception to the bar and cleaning staff on in the morning each one made us feel welcome . The beds were comfy and the coffee was good .tv worked well 👏

Only one lift working in hotel . The directions for walking travellers , no mention of short cut to reception through petrol station. The plumbing ,the toilet and shower worked but only if you played about a bit.
