Very hospitable hosts who warmly greeted us and gave us a very good advice on places e.g. cafes/restaurants (it was our first time in Cornwall). The room was very clean and beautiful, excellent interior details are chosen with taste and love. Every day we were served delicious desserts in our room. The breakfasts were also excellent. Delicious homemade juices, pastries, English breakfast, toast, natural yoghurts - everything was great! The beautiful scenic beach is just a few minutes away from the location. This place made our holiday great, regardless of the weather. We'll definitely be back! Thank you

Everything! When we arrived we were greeted by Mark with a glass of Prosecco for each of us, and gave us excellent advice about the area and transport. Fenella and Mark made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the Breakfasts were tasty and generous portions with plenty of choice. We will hopefully return for another stay sometime.

The wardrobe in our room was very noisy to open and close and the door to the bathroom banged against the shower when it was opened , it had a mind of its own! also the coat hook on the back of the bathroom door was missing but that’s just being picky as couldn’t fault anything else.

Lovely hosts, nice and clean room with charming interior and all needed amenities, great selection of freshly prepared breakfast, quietly located within a walking distance to the city centre of St. Ives, Carbis bay beach and the train as well as the bus station Daily cake and water as well as milk in a fridge in the room Lovely cat

Price performance ratio is ok, prices seem to be generally high in this beautiful region

We had the best stay at Headland House! And would highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a relaxing, friendly, comfortable, luxurious stay in Carbis Bay / St Ives then look no more! Our room was spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated. The breakfast room and outside seating area have stunning views of the sea and were calming and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the little train that takes you to St Ives (in 3 mins). It was nice to come away from the busyness of St Ives and relax in Carbis Bay. Our hosts, Mark and Fenella, were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious. I am vegan and I was provided with a different vegan breakfast option every morning - real thought and care went into ensuring I had delicious food! We will definitely be back 😊

We stayed in a couple of rooms during our long weekend visit. Room 3 is the best designed and most spacious room, try to request it in advance and you won't regret it. Room 2 is also beautiful with 2 large sea view windows. The main breakfast dishes are ordered the night before and they are served alongside a standard breakfast buffet. There is also an honest bar full of drinks and a small sitting area. The area feels super safe and there is an easy parking within the premises- please note it is only free when you book directly through the B&B website. The hosts Fenella and Mark are the nicest we met in a long while; they will go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is memorable - both also offered us the best local places to visit in terms of interest and food. Although St. Ives is about 3km away, there is a great train service with an easy excess from the house that takes you to town within a few minutes. Alternatively you can also walk to St Ives directly from the house via a memorable path with breathtaking views of the sea.

We wish we could stay longer... fresh vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers for breakfast could've been nice.

Breakfast was great, really enjoyed the room and the quiet sitting area right in front of it. Nice relaxing place to read. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had never stayed in a B&B before and thought this place was lovely.

The only negative was it was a bit more of a long steep walk than we expected. Not overly an issue for us as the walk itself to get into St Ives was lovely and quite enjoyable, but if someone had mobility issues the location and incline might be a bit too far out from where you'd likely be wanting to go and should plan for using a taxi

The hosts/ owners were amazingly helpful, lovely and very welcoming. There was lots of unexpected lovely things to enjoy like complimentary sherry, good choice of cappuccino and hot chocolates in rooms, lovely fresh milk in rooms, excellent daily breakfast. Good choice of daily cakes too!

Room a bit small but we had beautiful bathroom and private garden. I guess Uphill from the beach and train station might be a bit challenging for those with mobility issues but wasn't a problem for us.

Overall we had a great experience at Headland House. From start to finish we had a wonderful stay. Wonderful breakfast, very friendly host, beautiful decor, magnificent views from the room. We would highly recommend staying at Headland House if you are staying in Carbis Bay.

We had a room on the top floor, which was great for the sea views, but unfortunately the wifi signal in the room was weak. However, you can use the reception area, where the wifi signal is much better and you can work on comfortable sofas.

The owners are wonderful hosts. You will be made to feel welcome. Come here to unwind. Loved our stay and will definitely stay again. Location is great, right next to the train station to St. Ives. You get to enjoy the serenity of Carbis Bay with the option to easily zip out via the train whenever you fancy. Breakfast was wonderful with a great vegetarian breakfast served for myself and my wife really enjoyed the non-vegetarian options. Overall, easy 10/10 From Ben and Lynn.

Our stay at Headland House was lovely. The accommodations were so unique and unlike and hotels we have stayed at before. It really added to the charm of St. Ives and as first time visitors we will be sure to make our way back. Mark and Fanella were lovely hosts and did so much to make our stay as comfortable as possible

We didn’t realize it was a bath only and didn’t include a shower but it was still a great room!
