We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bankfoot Inn. We had spent much of the day on the road, and were looking forward to a comfortable night in a quiet inn, and weree quite happy we chose the Bankfoot Inn. The staff was very welcoming and helpful on arrival, which happened to be during dinner time. Our room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom was large, well lit and spotless. Both the bedroom and shower room appeared to be recently renovated, as did the restaurant and bar. We had an excellent meal in the dining room, which had the feel of charming Scottish country pub. The food was excellent, reasonable, and served by a cheery staff. The breakfast was excellent; lots of selections, either continental breakfast selections or fully cooked breakfast. Our cooked breakfast was nicely prepared and arrived hot from the kitchen. The staff was especially welcoming and cheerful. One of the best breakfasts of our two week holiday in UK. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at the Bankfoot Inn.

Warm welcome, excellent service throughout our stay. Staff were interested in us and were engaged at all times. There was an administrative mix-up on our booking through booking.com, so the Inn was quick to rectify this and offer an alternative. I was refunded the difference on our arrival accompanied by a lovey greeting card, which just went the extra mile in showing that they cared. The room for 2 adults and a child was very cosy and spacious. Beds were comfortable and apart from being a bit warm we had a great night sleep). Coffee, tea, sugar was plentiful and complimentary water and biscuits also. Bathroom facilities were excellent. There is a good choice of menu for dinner including what can be adapted to gluten free. The food was delicious great quality. My husband and daughter ate breakfast which there was great choice for cooked and continental and great quality. I took a piece of fruit to eat later in the day.

Nothing we did not like. Couple of challenges with limited parking on street, but we managed OK and not being able to control the electric heater with a thermostat as we were either too hot or too cold when we turned it off (March in Scotland). I didn't feel like breakfast, really, but towards the end, I did fancy some toast. There wasn't, however, any gluten-free bread. I did put this on our check-in form, sent by booking.com, but should have double-checked on check-in that they received it. Next time, I'll notify them directly.

After a warm welcome we got our rooms wich were clean and cosy. The Inn is on the main street in Bankfoot, not far north from Perth. Beds were very very confies, at the morning i literally didnt want to get up. But i did and it was a good choice, because the breakfast was the next with we were all very satisfied, even my 81 year-old mum! You can choose scotish breakfast ot scumbled eggs w bacon and sausage. Cornflakes, yaourts can be self served from a table. Tea, coffee or even cappuccino. We really recommend this place!

Very comfortable beds, the breakfast was wonderful; in particular loved the cafetière of coffee they brought! The staff were very friendly and always happy to help with any queries I had. Also really liked the bar. Shared bathroom very spacious.

Transport to and from the hotel is very limited, I stayed for a friend’s wedding, and no taxi service was able or willing to provide a service due to them being based in Pitlochry and Blairgowrie which was too far away. There is a bus service which passes through every 2 hours roughly, be sure to check their schedule before booking if you’ll be without a car(number 23 and 23A).

Old pub in small town not far from Perth. The town itself doesn't have much to it - this is the only place for dinner. Rooms are upstairs. Our room was modern, newly renovated, nicely appointed. Very clean. Nowhere to put suitcases but there was hanging space. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was the usual pub food but well cooked. Heated towel rail in the bathroom and good shower.

The pub is on the main road. There was no traffic noise but people sit at tables outside and we could hear them until fairly late. It's a bit overpriced considering the location but maybe that's just everywhere in the UK. It is VERY expensive.

Kudos to the Bankfoot Inn team, we really enjoyed the warm & accommodating service (Cathy & Gillian, specifically) and brilliant night’s sleep. Checked in just before 12 midnight and it was no hassle. Spotless rooms & bathrooms. Characterful old building with [what seems] recently decorated throughout, and to a high standard - so you get the charm and the modern/creature comforts. Delicious freshly cooked Scottish breakfast; chef happily made poached eggs on request (thank you, again, very yummy). Brilliant value for money.

No biggy, but worth noting if you check-in after most other guests are asleep. The noise easily travels to other rooms via the corridor (didn’t learn this till the AM), specifically room doors opening/closing, so recommend not letting the doors slam in the wee hours of the night/early mornings.

Great location just off the A9 en route to Inverness and the NC500. Room and bathroom were very clean with stylish fixtures and decoration. Was able to park my motorcycle to the rear of the property for added security and peace of mind. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Nothing.

great location. Food was amazing

my room felt like I was in the broom cupboard. The kettle was a hazard as I had to lift the tray up and down as the wire was not long enough to reach the plug. I also feel that sharing a toilet with another guest is a no no for hygiene reasons. I would stay there again but in an double with my own toilet facilities.

Lovely stay at Bankfoot Inn. All the staff are really helpful and made us feel welcome. It feels very cosy with a log fire, good food, and relaxing atmosphere. We really appreciated breakfast being served at the table, and it was delicious 😋 Dogs are welcome, and it's an excellent location for country walks and the town of perth only a short drive away.

The room was cold on our arrival at 4 pm, but, it warmed up once we had put the heater on
