The breakfast was the only thing that let the hotel down. The scrambled eggs were all wet and runny ( not edible) I expected them to be soft and fluffy but they were wet and soggy. Sausages were very pale and undercooked. Everything else was fine. I told the girl on breakfast to relay the info on the eggs back to the chef, as I would like to stay again.

Pity about The fridge in the bedroom kept us awake buzzing all night.

I asked for a low floor if no lift as I have a hip problem and it was allocated on the ground floor and with an accessible bathroom so all credit to them for being thoughtful. we ate dinner and the portions are so substantial we could no only manage Sartre and main course. Food is excellent and well priced with food service. Breakfast before leaving covers all aspects including Normal, Vegan, Gluten Free. in all a very good hotel for a relaxing stay whether one night or more.

Nothing really springs to mind to dislike.

Small (few guests = quiet) with restaurant and bar onsite. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Off-street parking. Easy check-in. Super comfortable bed, and the room even provided a desk with a chair! Delicious breakfast (ordered and paid for night before). Overall, it’s a good value for the money.

Nothing about the property, but I did wake up to what sounded like kegs of beer being delivered and dragged up and/or down the stairs. Very noisy. Guess it was delivery day! Can’t really do much about that.

Service was above and beyond. Person in charge managed to organise a 6 seater taxi for us to take us to Rewind Festival as we sat enjoying lunch. This was a huge benefit to our day at the festival.

Unfortunately, a few items weren't available for my vegan breakfast. The chef was good enough to come over and explain and apologise. He still managed to scrape together a decent tasty meal.

Nice welcome, quite small only a few rooms very friendly. Lively powerful shower. The food in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced and breakfast the next morning was really delicious and beautifully cooked to order. Would highly recommend the full Scottish!!!!

Limited parking, Towels were a bit thin and threadbare and Pillows were not very comfy. Also the air con in the room didn’t work so room was quite warm.

We liked everything. Hotel, bedrooms, dinner(lots of choices), breakfast was fantastic, entertainment was amazing (and an added bonus). Just great. Would certainly recommend and will be back soon. And it was dog friendly..another bonus. xx

The only complaint was the car parking. I did eventually get into the car park. It only had 4/5 spaces or it was street parking on a busy road. But not a big complaint on the scale of things. x

I had a full Scottish Breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed. The interior of the hotel is completely new and completely up to modern standards. The room was a good size for 2 people and the en suite toilet and shower was roomy too. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and quite chatty if you joined in a conversation with them. The food was good there were several beers on draught. All in all I was lucky to pick the Scone Arms.

The hot water in the shower took a while to come through. I told the staff and they said they would mention it in their welcoming sheet so that the guests wouldn't give up hope too soon. I didn't and the hot water arrived! So no harm done.

Breakfast was great. The bar was awesome. The little patio at the back was nice. The location was perfect for our needs.

Need a mirror in the bathroom. Did not like having to book and pay for breakfast - and pick a time - the day before. Otherwise no complaints.

The room was comfortable but very noisy. Pleasant staff and a good atmosphere in the bar.

The restaurant staff seemed to be a bit lost at times But the waitress (Beth) on the first night was outstanding. She never stopped for a second while others seemed to wonder about, some looking at phones.

The breakfast would show up the major hotels. There was plenty to eat to set you up for the day and hot which is usual as a lot of hotels i have stayed in the food is tepid and/or dried out despite their attempts to keep it warm. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
