We stayed in one of the two executive room on the top floor. The room was superb, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Anyone who has read one of my reviews before knows that I take issue with the small details but I have no issues here. There is a coffee machine in the room with enough pods for anyone. The bathroom is huge with both a bath, and separate walk-in shower. The view is amazing and the bed, comfy. Now we get to breakfast, which is superb. Our waiter was very attentive and we wanted for nothing. Have the full Scottish or vegetarian breakfast, you’ll get the most fabulous potato fondant on your plate, along with all the usual accompaniments including haggis. I cannot fail this hotel for the cost.

There are some stairs with no lift and the car park is a little small, but for the money you pay, these things are forgiven.

We had a wonderful host, he was very attentive and made himself available 24 hours a day. Thankfully everything was great so we did not have to call him. The dining room was very busy, the food was great, definitely make a reservation. The location was a perfect stopping point for us as we made our way down the East coast. Our room had a lovely view of the ocean and harbor. It seemed more of a working harbor than touristy, but as we only needed a clean and comfortable room it worked perfectly for us. Don't let the outside fool you, it was very modern and seemed pretty new inside.

Finding this hotel was an unexpected gem. This hotel is located directly across from the sea. Check in was achieved via the restaurant, a very warm welcome greeted us on arrival. All staff were so friendly, very helpful dealing with food allergies and with early morning starts for breakfast. Restaurant food is truly excellent and deserves a higher rating. The best halibut I've ever had. Slept well in a very comfortable bed. An excellent shower in the ensuite. Bedroom is well equipped with toiletries, hair dryer, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel in a compact car park. We'll definitely be back.

Bar closed very quickly after dinner service. The staff did offer to take drinks to our room, but it would have been nicer to sit in the bar.

Lovely room. Cracking bathroom with large shower. Well appointed nicely decorated and an awesome sea view.

Not a major issue by any means but I thought the mattress on the bed wasn't great. Felt you could feel the springs. I managed to sleep ok once settled but wouldn't want to sleep on it for more than one night. Maybe a new mattress would be a worthwhile purchase and would enhance the overall experience for your guests.

No surprise that the Seaview Hotel has excellent views. Easy walking distance to the harbour, the lighthouse and shoreline Evening meal and breakfast were lovely and good value Staff were very friendly Short distance to Slains Castle and the Bullers of Buchan - 2 must see visits

Nothing. Boddam is an old village by the sea with history and character - enjoy.

The location was fantastic and the staff where the friendliest we have come across. They where really accommodation and the food for both breakfast and dinner was 10/10. The room was everything you needed as well very modern bathroom, large bath and comfy bed!

There was not a lot of parking and some of the furnishings in the room where dusty.

Once inside the property it was perfect but the outside would not make me stop here i would of drove past but like i said once inside it was excellent very modern the food breakfast and evening meal(extra cost)was excellent and a very good menu Parking on site overall excellent property

Rooms at very good standard. Excellent breakfast and dinners!! Lots of locals come dine here, providing a lovely atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had staffing issue one day, but explained the day before and put measures in place to mitigate the circumstances. Very good communication!

Little noise from a fish factory down the road, but didn’t really bother me and the sea view made more than up for it.

A beautifully updated old house with very comfortable bedroom, luxury bathroom, Attentive service at breakfast, food excellent. Wonderful views over the harbour.

A local fish option (kippers or finnans) would have been appreciated for breakfast. Some kind of machinery nearby was audible, especially with the window open, but it didn't keep us awake.
