Most incredible home we ever stayed! Host very kind, with delicious details (like, welcome personalised note, map with the best places to eat, what we prefered for breakfast, places to visit) the room exceptionelly clean, breakfast prepared according to our choices. And the view...... the best view of Portree with no doubt. I didn't want to sleep, just keep on looking through the window all night long. IN-CRE-DI-BLE! To everyone who wants to visit Skye, please DO stay with Alan and Alex

Nothing to improve about the host. Regarding the city of Portree, please be aware that the city is really small and do not have enough restaurants for all the tourists in town. Very dificult to book a table for dinner... but possible :)

We loved everything about our stay, Alan called us the morning of our arrival to confirm our checkin time and greeted us when arrived. Alan checked in with us everyday and was very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and had a fabulous view of the water, binoculars were provided to take a closer look. The room was very spacious and the seperate hallway and your own front door made it feel like your own little haven after a busy day sightseeing. The bed was super comfy, you got a great sleep after a busy day. The bathroom was a great size and the Arran Aronatic toiletries were appreciated. Breakfast was delivered to your room to enjoy in peace, the choice was great and the food plentiful and tasty. It was a 15min leisurely walk into town, where you could enjoy eating out or pick up food to bring back, there was a microwave, fridge, plates and utensils provided. We took time to sit and enjoy the view from the room with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great B&B in a great location, fair price. Very short walking distance to Portree town centre. Parking lot is included. Beautiful large room with an absolutely stunning panorama view. Very comfortable bed and a nice seating area. Large, modern and clean bathroom. Very good breakfast choices, served to the room so one can enjoy a very silent breakfast with the fantastic view. And Alan and Alex are the most welcoming hosts ever seen. Absolutely highly recommendable

It’s located just outside of the Portree city center and offers incredible views of the bay from the seaside window in the room. The room also comes equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave as well as plates and eating utensils for enjoying either restaurant takeaway meals or purchasing microwaveable dinners from the local supermarkets. This is a distinct advantage since the the relatively few Portree restaurants get very crowded and are difficult to get dinner reservations. Alan was very friendly and attentive and warmly greeted us when we arrived and after returning from our touring the Trotternish peninsula. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. We absolutely recommend staying here for anyone planning a visit to the amazing Isle of Skye!

This was a cute little B&B with an exceptional view. The hosts were lovely and very informative during the whole booking and check in process. The room was well appointed with an amazing view. The place is a good 10mins walk out of town but I believe the view and room is worth it. The place has parking. Oh and the breakfasts were very tasty with a good variety.

Alan was the perfect host, welcoming us on arrival and providing helpful recommendations to make our stay enjoyable. The room was lovely and comfortable with the most stunning view from our window. Breakfast was so delicious, best poached eggs ever! The location was great, only a 15 minute walk to Portree. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing!

What a lucky find! Alex and Alan were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Very welcoming and friendly and they provided information in advance to help plan our stay as well as giving us little handy tips during our time in Skye. Perfect location, spacious room, delicious breakfasts and all the small touches really made our time on Skye really special. We travelled by public transport and this is the ideal location to get the best of both worlds- close to the centre but also with a spectacular view from the room. The rooms are perfect. Thank you Alex and Alan!

This was simply a perfect stay. The location was fantastic-right on a main road -east to get in and out, and an easy 10 minute walk into town for the restaurants and pubs. We had a very comfortable king sized bed, a delicious cooked to order breakfast delivered to our room each morning (including the 2 pots of coffee we requested). But the things that really made it standout for us is the view-SPECTACULAR! Of course the golden retriever puppy only added to our enjoyment. And finally, the owner are friendly, welcoming and simply nice guys who have thought of every little thing and delivered on it. A 10 all the way!
