The staff members were super friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient. Breakfast was very good value for its money. The breakfast room was cozy and leading conveniently to a very lovely backyard lined with gorgeous roses and other summer blooms. The setting was a total delight and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside taking in the views, smelling the roses and hearing the birds chirping.

Water from the shower splashed all over the bathroom floor. The situation could be improved by installing a longer splash guard or a full shower curtain. Also, 2 of the 4 bedroom windows could not be opened, making the room uncomfortably hot when the outside day temperature was 30C during our stay.

Wonderful, kind, caring people nothing to much trouble. Breakfast presented beautifully with a centre table of cereals all in beatiful dishes, fresh fruit, choose of fruit juices, cheese, croissants & pan au chocolat. Also included is a full English breakfast. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of storage, hairdryer and a fan. Outside you have the use of a beautifully maintained garden. Vibrant high street just round the corner and the tube 5 minutes walk at the bottom of the road taking you straight into Leicester Square. Nothing not too like

Room needs updating, but it's acceptable size, very decent natural light, bathroom with window, quiet and relaxing garden views. It would benefit from providing a desk in room. Bed very comfortable and a real king size. Lovely garden. Did not try breakfast, but had very good value beers on the garden patio. Location good for Northern Line Tube, so access to Higate (10mins) and west end (20mins) very easy. Considering al the above, price was good value.

It could be so much better with little cosmetic improvements, and new bathroom appliances and ceiling cover.

We had a wonderful stay at the Glenlyn House. A beautiful Victorian House with exceptional staff. We arrived outside of regular hours and the staff made the key collection so easy. The light was on in the rooms when we arrived with the heat on. So very welcoming. The rooms were as expected for a Victorian house. I loved that they work on keeping it as original as possible. The bath was just gorgeous. So comfortable. Television in each room with multiple channels. The breakfast was delicious. Continental and full English available. Beautiful garden area at the back of the House. A bit too chilly for us to go out there due to the time of year. I must mention the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. Anna was exceptional, she helped me with getting suitable bus routes to where we wanted to go. She gave me numbers for a few excellent taxi services. Out of all the places I have stayed over the years, this is by far the best. Just a bit extra..even though the Hotel is outside Central London it is so easy to get into London from there. The number 13 bus is just about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I will definitely book the Glenlyn Hotel should I be going to London again.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like!

We stayed in one of the beautiful apartments of Glenlyn Hotel. It had two bed rooms and a living room with kitchen and there was enough space for a family of four. The breakfast was delicious, you could choose between a full english breakfast or continental breakfast. Within a five minutes walk you reach Woodside Park underground station, a food store is close by as well as a couple of restaurants in High Road which makes the hotel a perfect location to stay.

We stayed in the middle floor apartment. The photos did not do it justice. It’s a beautiful, clean, airy space. The staff (Renata, especially) were extremely helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was a good one. Breakfast was nice and they have a lovely garden. I would definitely stay here again.

There were coffee facilities in the room but no milk, so perhaps a few little pots would be good before having chance to get your own. But other than that I couldn’t fault it.

My 4th stay in 5 years with Glenlyn and as good as ever. Staff have worked really hard over the Jubilee weekend to make sure everyone has a great stay. The breakfast is very good quality with lots on offer, hot food and pastries etc. Rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfortable with good mattresses and thick duvets. I like that hand-wash and shower gel bottles have been installed to save on single use plastics and assist with hand washing.

It would help to have a system to say if you are happy to keep the same bedsheets and bath towels for duration of stay as our towels were refreshed daily but we would have been happy to re-use to save water and environmental/hotel costs. In New York for instance we had a card to leave out to say we would reuse, only towels left in the bath to be exchanged.

Great location to travel a few miles into central London. The hotel comprises a series of Large houses with plenty of car parking. Inside the premises everything is stunning from reception, restaurant and longe areas. We had an apartment and it was gorgeous and very spacious. Definitely one of London’s hidden gems !!

Absolutely nothing to dislike about the hotel !

We liked our room. It was advertised as small but was slightly larger than we expected. We liked the location as the Underground was only a short walk away. We liked the staff, they were very helpful and friendly.

Our ensuite was very small, but it had everything we needed. The pillows were too high for me, but I feel sure the staff would have changed them if I had asked.

Family run business, couldn't do enough for you. All staff very helpful. Breakfast cereal, fruit juices cheese on centre table. Looked very well set out with good variety. English breakfast was very good too. Fabulous location for tube as on the same road thriving high street. Highly recommended and will be coming back. 👌 xx
