A beautiful building and stunning gardens 😍 Large dining area Lovely owner. Wonderful to talk to her about the history of the building. I felt it was under used and somewhat dated. We talked about our past works and I mentioned I ran a Nursery school in the Middle East and her building could well lend it self to a change of business for additional revenue!

Help with suitcase and bag would have been appreciated as the stairs are quite steep to manage I would have liked a better quality of coffee in the room, even a simple cafetiere. Expensive room, as breakfast was extra.

Jackie is absolutely lovely. A fantastic host. Very accommodating. It was a luxury to have parking. The room was very spacious. I didn’t hear a thing and slept like a log. Very clean and comfortable. When I’m back in the area I’ll def book again ( also loved the view of her wonderful back garden. Wonderful to wake up too) Also lovely and warm ans was spoilt by the large double bed x

TV was a bit too high for me on the wall. Dear lord if that’s all that’s wrong they are doing well 🤣

The room and the ensuite bathroom were clean. I was travelling with a child as her guardian, and she needed the heating on. Although it was too early in the year to turn the heating on, the person in charge helped to put the heating on and brought us an extra blanket. She was very helpful in this respect.

After the first night, we asked the room service not to come in because the child who was with me was ill and needed to rest. We said that the room did not need any cleaning and we just needed fresh cups, but we were told that we should either wash our cups or vacate the room for cleaning, and it was not possible for them to get the dirty cups at the door and give us clean cups. This was very strange and I didn't really like the attitude. Also, we wanted to check out, there was no one at the reception, so I had to video record myself leaving the key at the reception desk just in case. I can, however, understand that these things may happen in small guest houses.

I liked that the tube was right down the road. I liked the beds. I liked that our room was cleaned everyday. It was also in a quiet neighborhood.

The room was extremely stuffy, even when the temperature was moderate at night. The bathroom shower was extremely small and it made it hard to do anything.

Cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet area no noise, free parking, guesthouse near the tube station, comfortable beds, fridge in the bedroom!!! Kettle tea,milk,coffee, and biscuits. The garden is very nice!

The shower system is not so easy to use. More hangers in the wardrobe would be great. The breakfast is free so it's basic but still good. No take away for breakfast and available later than usual on the weekend.

My double room was large and very comfortable. I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist who arranged an early check in for me. Continental breakfast was included with the room (not an extra £10 as I had thought it would be). The hotel is in a nice area, minutes walk from the tube station and a large Sainsbury’s grocery shop.

The only thing I would add to the room would be blackout curtains or blinds. The existing blinds let in a lot of light in the early morning.

We had an awesome room, which was more like an apartment. It had two bed rooms, one with three beds for our three kids and one for my wife and I. It had two bathrooms with two showers. It had a kitchen that had everything, so we could cook on our own. It also had a washing machine, which really helped with a 8 day stay for a family. All the rooms were cleaned each day.

Just one small thing, we did not have a place inside the apartment to dry the laundry. There was not a dryer or a portable drying stand that we could find, so we hanged them around the apartment. However, we also did not inquire if they had one, so it could be our problem too.

Very friendly owner, good rooms, clean quiet. Good breakfast, nice breakfast room open to garden. Hassle free, relaxing stay. Good restaurants a walk away recommend San Georgio. Sainsburys at end of road and Woodside Oark Northern Line at other end. Great for access to Central London

Brilliant location for getting to Alexandra Palace. I've stayed here before and came back because I was very impressed. The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff are polite and there's a beautiful garden at the back of the property. Fabulous stay again, thank you so much for looking after us!

Very convenient for public transport. Lovely big room with a good size bathroom. Impressed by the amount of storage in the bathroom. A fridge was an unexpected but welcome surprise as well as anadditionall portable heater. The bed was comfortable too.

The small lights by the bed didn't work - not sure if they were supposed to, but it would have been nice.
