Spa facilities are great - especially the jacuzzi section that opens on one side to the outdoors. Staff are helpful. Lovely setting with established trees and outdoor seating. Food was lovely - especially the pizzas.

This is not really in the control of the hotel as its down to guests' attitudes that stay there at the same time as you but is worth mentioning..... We went when there was a wedding on (website does warn of possible events). The event stopped at 1.30 (music etc which was expected) but unfortunately the guests continued to party until 3 o'clock in the morning in the room directly above us so the noise from other guests was a real pain and we couldnt sleep as they were so loud. We did complain at the time and spoke to a manager in the morning who was very apologetic and gave us a free breakfast to compensate for the lack of sleep. The second night was fine and quiet.

Me and my fiance visited for a night's break on the 21st July. We love the hotel and think the spa facilities are fabulous. We absolutely love the heated jacuzzi pool, sauna and ice rooms and made good use of these during our stay. We felt so relaxed afterwards which is what we went for so were really happy about this! Our room was also lovely, clean, tidy and spacious and the bed is something else....so comfy 👌 More than suited our needs for our stay! The breakfast was also great 👍 tasty food and lots of choice

Nothing to dislike during the stay we had.

I like the location and the style of the property. The rooms are a little dated but clean and tidy. Spa was good and Tammy who completed my massage was great.

The food is a little on the expensive side to be honest. The breakfast was also very repetitive each day. There was no change and they didn’t like you asking for poached eggs, they just wanted you to eat the fried eggs. also, no omelette options. The breakfast is ok for a few days but if you are staying a week or so it gets a bit boring. The hash browns were good though. Some of the staff are not friendly and seem annoyed if you ask a question, however, the young man who checked me in for breakfast was lovely, as was the young lady on the bar at night.

Hotel and bar area in hotel was very nice and food was delicious. Excellent Spa facilities including lunch with unlimited refreshments

The restaurant was extremely poor. It was my special birthday so was expecting a nice table in the restaurant however, it was sticky tables, no cloth, not set ready for use, mis matching table and chairs and no atmosphere, it was empty so clearly people would rather eat in the bar which is much nicer but not many tables so was a challenge to get a table. Restaurant definitely let's the hotel down.

Excellent for parking Quiet location Nice outside area with views Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff throughout - a major credit to the hotel Good sized comfortable rooms, with all you need including nice view with good daylight Fantastic food, choice and service, relaxing environment All spa facilities working and very good Did I mention the superb attentive staff ?

Leaving A touch on the high on the price, but worth it if they look after the staff well

A busy hotel that coped well with all the differing expectations. Good Front of House Manager - always calm and informed - smiley, well groomed receptionist who found me a dental kit, very tolerant and eager waitress who got the menu and drinks right every time! Excellent swimming pool and thermal suite - well done for having the refreshing Ice Room and Shower - few hotels offer this!

My room had been used for a smoker. Room had been aired but it needs a refresh (307). Receptionist offered to change it for me (thanks!) but decided to remain as had unpacked.

Great location, easy to find and had a great spa. The staff were friendly and helpful and room was comfortable. very pretty scenery and lovely grounds to have a walk.

The room wasn’t private. we could hear everything from the room next door. Our room had a sealed up door between us and the next room. we could hear everything they were doing and talking about. We paid for breakfast on the day and it was very disappointing. the bacon was rock hard and the fruit was slimy. the impression was it had been sat there all morning

breakfast delicious/ spa facilities/ ambience/ bar staff welcoming

not being able to sit at ambient scenic window seat breakfast , one member of staff had issue with it ? ( setting up for lunch reason not justifiable on the occasions 3 out 4 days we were there) management can help them better to achieve timeframe tools training time management skills . ( five visits to lay one Window dinner table half hour? 0855-9-15 ) suggest prepared trolley or area to fill from customers we weren’t late for breakfast parameters !! ? so why letting customers down in this way ! real shame ! we painfully watched while they visited kitchen area five times to obtain settings for lunch while catching other diners nit to sit in window seating ?? disappointed staff were all welcoming except this issue please address.

Bedrooms were amazing, comfortable and clean! The hotel itself it gorgeous and the facilities are amazing and all included. Staff were superb and friendly to approach. Overall was a great stay

Food was an issue, first night it wasn’t appetising at all. Asked for a steak medium rare and it was well over done, no seasoning and lukewarm by the time it got to us. I asked for truffle new potatoes as a side and they tasted like regular potatoes…. The best part was the mushrooms and chips.
