I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience my partner and I had during our recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by your reception staff, who made us feel right at home. The ambiance of the hotel was simply delightful, and we were particularly impressed by the stylish restaurant where we enjoyed our breakfast. Excellent breakfast choice and well cooked. Brilliant staff in the dining room and a beautiful environment. Everywhere spotless with a really dedicated team of cleaning staff. All staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Great bar area and staff. Whole place has individual character and well placed for visits out.

Reception staff fine but not as outstanding as other staff. Could use instructions on how to operate the bath/shower control - had never encountered the particular set up so an interesting first use! Ground floor rooms a little dark but not a problem.

The initial room was not acceptable due to being run down and delapadated however the hotel sorted this out as soon as I raised the issue. The alternative room was good, clean and comfortable The canteen was pleasent, good variety of cereals, drinks etc Breakfast was good

Good sized room, lovely restaurants. Staff really friendly throughout. Lovely feel to the place. Good selection of breakfast choices. Dinner in both restaurants was good - English slightly better than Italian. Bar looked lovely. Water provided in the room and refreshed daily along with biscuits and teas/coffee.

Teacups at breakfast way too small and no teapots available - they did give me a mug on the second morning when I asked though. Teapigs Earl Grey teat at breakfast not to my taste and not much available - Twinings bags from the room are much better. Room TV rather small and remote didn't do all functions (no Guide/info available). No ability to connect may laptop to the TV (HDMI connection or similar)

The room was very pleasant. Warm and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. We had dinner in the Italian restaurant which was very nice. The staff were very attentive. We had breakfast before we left. Julie took our order and was extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, piping hot and delicious. We had everything we needed.

The only thing that marred our stay this time was the builders and scaffolding operators, who were working outside our bedroom window. It was a very rude awakening at 7.45 ish in the morning. They dropped one scaffolding pole and it hit the wall just outside our window. I was definitely awake then. And that’s the first time we have ever had an issue.

lovely comfy homely hotel, with a choice of two lovely restaurants, there is a nice bar area too. my room looked like it had been recently renovated and was lovely.

the breakfast could have been better, the food was good, but the staff were more interested in talking amongst them selves that serving and I could here every work of there private conversation for the whole time I was at breakfast. there was a plastic kitchen bin in the middle of the restaurant for cereal packets and the like which i thought could have had an alternative as looked untidy and not what i would expect.

All the staff especially the dinner restaurant....were very helpful and accommodating.

Extra handle bars to get in and out of the bath would make one feel safer. More shelving in bathrooms to accommodate wash bags etc. Better lighting for ladies to put make up on, even the windows have gray netting !!! Friendly staff helpful information about the area Comfy bed Good size room I could have done with some more coat hangers I will bring some nest time maybe if I had asked reception they would have given me some but it was not a problem I liked the seating area in the bar and lounge areas good choice of places to sit drink and chat with family and friends

Would have liked a fridge in the room just a small one would have been very useful Found it a rush to get down to breakfast by 9am could you make it 10am I also think with the cost of the rooms which are not cheap breakfast should be included in the room price.

Didn't have enough time to enjoy it, got there late and left early but everything was perfect. The room was beautiful and very clean and all facilities were excellent. The shower was superb. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for Rochdale city centre. Big free car park.

Breakfast finished a bit early and I couldn't make it due to work but my wife enjoyed it. Check out at 11 was a bit too early for my work commitments and they couldn't offer later check out but the hotel was full so fair enough.

Room like the hotel was clean well presented and comfortable. Able to have a hot bath. Window was directly opposite some bungalows, and there were no nets so they could look straight in which was a bit wierd. Got a wake call OK and the breakfast was comprehensive and well cooked, Grand hotel which had been well maintained. Wifi was truly free unlike some 'premium wifi' hotels.
