Room was clean and big enought for 3 ppl

Breakfast was very poor, small choice. the next day food was like leftovers from the previous day. which was associated with poor quality of food - it was dry. the Service doesn’t respons to comments related to this. stay with breakfast included = Lost money.

great gym and pool and handy Starbucks is on site very clean and comfy beds

restaurant is very expensive for what you get I paid £19 for a piece of salmon on rice with a water. charge of 5/day for parking and 5/day for gym is excessive as hotel not cheap

Clean, modern, quiet yet lots of opportunities to enjoy food and drink around the lobby. It's a village! The pool and gym are busy but excellent too. Very efficient friendly staff from reception to bar staff to cleaners. Big car park, lots of disabled parking, lifts at every level too. TV showing premium sports and films too, not just basic packages. Beds are exceptionally comfy and good black out curtains. Big bathroom. Just off M66 and 5 minutes drive from bury centres shopping.

Breakfast was spoilt by the way the bacon was cooked it was vastly overcooked it wasn't far of being burnt to be perfectly honest. We went to breakfast quite early but only scrambled eggs available I had to request and wait for a fried egg.

I attended a Military Veterans function at the venue which I very much enjoyed but the bar staff of which there were 4 couldn't make a simple Irish Coffee despite me explaining how easy they were to make at the end of which I was told that the kitchen was closed and my request couldn't be met quite what the kitchen might have to do with making Irish coffee is beyond me. Another point I would like to make is that I found the female bar staff to be quite rude, I ordered some drinks at the bar and paid for them and gave the bar person a five pound tip and was approached by another female bar person that I shouldn't tip one server without tipping the rest which made me feel somewhat embarrassed.

the only reason I booked to this hotel was their pool. starbuck cafe downstairs was a big bonus. Also the receptionist were very good and helpful during our check in & checkout. we came to Manchester due to our big Zumba event, the biggest one jn europe, so i need facilities to help entertain my kids & my husband. looking forward for next year! definitely will comeback

the sour face from the receptionist at the pool . even my kids said Hi to her, but seems like she doesn’t care & her face only stick at the computer. hearing problem maybe 😂. other than that, on our first night our sleep was disrupted by the couple argument next door. with door slammed and shouting to each other at the corridor floor for good 2 hours. I’m surprised no security came to the rescue. no telephone in the room to complain so that’s quite disappointing.

The staff are absolutely excellent, from the receptionist to food servers to bar staff everyone was helpful and friendly. Good location to visit East Lancs Railway. Free parking at weekends

There were a couple of issues we needed to complain about. This was dealt with quickly and the staff were apologetic. The Manager phoned personally to also apologise and offer a very generous refund, Cannot fault their customer service.

I love village hotels in general this was very close to Manchester so wad perfect for us

Only thing I had was they tried to charge me £1.50 for my towels in the morning for swimming I had me and my two daughters and wife they told me to go back to the room and use the towels from there I said they are wet but still said I had to pay. In the end they just gave me some but I feel if you have paid for a room paid for drinks and food at the hotel I'm sure a towel for swimming isn't much to ask for? Be hey yeah I would stay again and no I won't pay for towels 🤣

nice bathroom, nice big bed, easy check in, starbucks downstairs, nice outdoor area

as a cleaner i noticed the over head shower was black with mould and blocked up (as i touched it and the black mould came off easily) so couldn't use that super small window and could do with a better mirror that's facing from the window for lightening no air con!! had a dyson fan so a summer trip is way to hot to stay
