Mary the receptionist could not do enough for you. She was welcoming and efficient. She ordered taxis for us which arrived promptly. The Hotel was very busy with a wedding, but other staff were also helpful making sure everyone was arrended to. Staff were also clearing up confetti which had blown in due to the wind so were doing their best to keep the Hote tidy..Bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Some money could do with being spent on the rooms eg the light above the mirror had no cover, the heated towel rail was rusty and the door hinges had been oiled but not masked off leaving black marks.Bedside lamp did not work, coat hangers did not match so looked hotch potch. All these things added up to making the Hotel looking uncared for. Website says rooms available from 2 but it is 3.

Fab location to commute to where we was going. Lovely hotel, booked a small room and that’s what it was but had everything we needed even the iron and hair dryer come in handy. Breakfast was delicious and staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Hotel was perfect, very clean throughout. Our bathroom had mould all over the ceiling near the bath, I am presuming this is due to no fan been in there. The condensation when taking a shower wets all the bathroom which is probably another factor to the mould.

It was clean, tidy and an excellent breakfast. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t of asked for more, they all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had two disabled adults with us, and the staff were fantastic in helping as and when we needed them to help. Nothing and I mean..nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Oscars restaurant was also fabulous, the food was seasonal, fresh and flavoursome. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Rooms are a little tired

location was excellent for motorway and central locations. the hitel staff were, without exception, excellent. extremely friendly and helpful and went the extra mile when asked. the food was good, solid pun food and the chef would make special off menu dishes when requested. the room was spacious, comfortable and had all the basic amenities one would expect.

no real criticism but i guess if i was being picky the. the bathrooms were a little tired around the edges.

Despite being under pressure over the Christmas period, we found the staff, without exception, were most helpful and friendly. Although we were not booked in for breakfast in advance, the staff were happy to accommodate us on the occasions when we requested breakfast.

Our room was small. The shower leaked on to the floor. (Room 3) There is no comfortable lounge area.

Staff very pleasant and helpful

The heating!, Radiator not working in room one, asked for someone to look at radiator which they did said they would return within half an hour which they didn't so then we asked for a fan heater which they put in our room but when we returned after a few drinks expecting a warm room it had been left blowing out cold air which was then adjusted by myself. Staff should pay more attention to detail.

The bedroom was lovely, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and appealing. A very comfortable stay. I had the pork chops at dinner which were delicious. Very happy with my stay. I travel weekly for work and will be happy to stay here frequently.

Although the dinner was great the service was slow and we waited 45 mins for our food even though it was a quiet evening.

The breakfast was brilliant, bed was comfy and the staff were wonderful. I left my purse in reception on a seat and had arrived in Manchester before I realised. They were quick to post it down to me on special delivery. Made it very simple! I’ve added photos of some neighbours close to the hotel that I met on a short walk while there. :) …plus the view

Nothing. All good and met my needs for a business trip

Great location. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Very good breakfast.

Some areas of room 2 need updating. The walls need sound proofing, could hear next doors conversation and they weren’t talking loud.

Personell was really kind and the rooms very clean and big. The bathroom was also very big with an excellent showerThe internet in the room was really good.

The room was very good but the service of the restaurant was not what I expected, it practically did not exist. After almost 15 mi.waiting a waitress came and when we asìkedt for the menu for the wines she said she would show to us the 2 bottles of the red wine they could offer ! We chose and she left the bottle on the table withoult opening it and said we could help us ourselves! The food was not bad but the experience was ruined by the service. It ios important to give a minimum training to young people.
