Most beautiful little lodge in the most beautiful location. It sits right on Carlingford Lough, the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so amazing views of the lough, Republic of Ireland, and the house that was built for Queen Victoria. Short walk to the Kilbroney Park and Forest, the Narnia trails, etc. Stefano and Pasqualino are lovely hosts. My room with en suite bathroom was beautiful, warm, quiet, with a comfortable bed and pilllows. I had a great sleep. Bathroom was huge, and everything worked well. Plenty of free parking out front. Highly recommend.

A very friendly and helpful Pasqualina dealt with me on my arrival and made me feel very welcome. Everything was explained regarding the use of the facilities and the breakfast routine. Stefano was in charge on the following morning and provided a most welcome and filling breakfast. He was courteous, cheerful and friendly making sure that everything was provided and even gave me a fresh scone, knowing that my onward journey was taking me to Co Kerry with the intention of climbing Carrauntoohil the following dau - I did, thanks to the scone! The bungalow, although situated near to the A2, was quiet and peaceful and the views from my room were excellent. A very, very good B&B and if I am in the area again I would certainly look to booking a room there again.

Myself and 8 year old stayed here for one night. Communication with the hosts was fantastic, we got a lovely message earlier in the day telling us our room was ready and they were looking forward to welcoming us and we confirmed our ETA. On arrival our hosts were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome and offered a choice of 2 rooms, one with a double bed and ensuite or 2 beds and private bathroom. We opted for the 2 beds and private bathroom. Our room was clean and the beds and bedding very comfortable. Tea, coffee, biscuits, kettle, water etc all in room. The view was fantastic, mountains out to the left and Carlingford Lough to the right. Location perfect with the beach just across the road and Kilbroney Park was a few minutes down the road. We enjoyed the Narnia Trail, the forest drive and walks at Kilbroney as well as beach combing that evening and first thing in the morning. There was a driveway with space for 2 cars and parking along the road outside. We parked on the road outside with no issues. We had room only and didn't opt for breakfast but it did smell lovely. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The only thing was, whilst the bathroom was private, you did have to go out into the hallway to use it. Initially I didn't think that would matter, however when having to use it during night was very conscious of disturbing others and 8 year old not comfortable going out of room unless I checked outside the door first so it wasn't as relaxing as ensuite would have been. But all in all not a big deal and the views and location certainly made it worthwhile.

Arrived at a lovely welcome, our hosts were a really nice family, and our breakfast was delicious. Had a really nice time in beautiful Rostrevor. Art galleries, walks on the beach and forest and parks. Enjoyed a half of Guinness and a Mourne Dew Gin and Tonic. Also, had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants.

Our room was gorgeous, exceptionally clean with beautiful decor and comfy beds. The view from our room was delightful of the garden overlooking Carlingford Lough.

A very cozy and beautiful house, the host greeted us warmly, kindly showed us everything in the apartment, the view from the wine was directly on the sea, the beds and the room itself were very comfortable, we liked everything. In the morning, the hosts fed us a delicious breakfast, also allowed us to have dinner in the kitchen with their own food and advised us to go to the mountain the next day, there is a nature reserve nearby with beautiful views, which we did and were very satisfied with the accommodation and the hosts. We will definitely come to you again! Our son really liked your trampoline) Thank you! ;)

Everything was great, there are no negatives for the money. The only thing is that it is not quite close to the track. But the views make up for the remoteness. The house itself is conveniently located near the road.

The location is great , quite with a beautiful view , staff ( the man who welcomed us in) were really nice , the room was a lovely temperature, the beds were so comfortable, the shower was hot and the private terrace looked lovely but due to bad weather we didn’t get to use it

The low ceilings were a problem for my husband (6ft 3") but fine for me

Loved the location- easy to walk into town for dinner and drinks. The welcome from the owner immediately made you feel relaxed as she was lovely and friendly and willingly gave any information about the area we asked for. Lovely warm room and bed was so comfortable, with fab pillows and lots of hot water for a nice deep bath. Breakfast was superb, beautifully presented and it was great fun sitting chatting with our host and the other guests around the table. All in all a superb stay.

Beautiful setting near the lough. The roof terrace where I spent an hour late afternoon taking in the sun's rays-yes sun!! Close proximity of pubs and restaurants.

The room was quite small but only there for a couple of nights. Unfortunately the room didn't have a walk in shower so awkward for my wife-Stefano was kind to offer some steps to make it easier.

The temporary host - Frances was extremely welcoming and made us feel at ease and comfortable immediately and couldn't do enough for us. Really nice lady. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Very dog friendly place. Attic room had great views across the Lough. Would stay there again.

Although the location is good for access to the town and the Lough, there can be quite a lot of traffic noise. The property is undergoing some refurbishment that it will benefit from
