Where to start... Well suffice to say this was the best B&B I have ever stayed in! The whole place was sumptuously decorated and cosy. The room was immaculate with everything we needed and more, I loved the little dressing room in our Binnian Suite. Amazing hosts who were attentive and considerate of our privacy and wonderfully friendly and interesting to chat with. Breakfast was perfect and the breakfast room has breathtaking views. Do not hesitate to use the hot tub, it is on a balcony overlooking the Mournes and the sea, we will be using it next time we go! We went for a walk round the country lanes at night and the stars were so bright due to the absence of any city glow. Fiona the host offered us high viz vests we could have worn...honestly you guys thought of everything. Just the best place to stay and we will definitely be back!

The only thing that could possibly be improved was a larger TV in the Binnian Suite with on-demand settings (ie a smart TV). We didn't come to watch TV of course but it would have been nice to have the option to watch Netflix or the like. The wall-mounted TV did have plenty of channels (freeview) and we enjoyed watching Titanic!

Sam is a wonderful host! Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is beautiful, in the middle of fields with great view to the mountains and the area. Breakfast is absolutely exceptional! Rich, frash, tasty and local (even the eggs are from his friend's farm!) Our room was very clean and comfortable. The B&B is designed beautifully, with a thought about every detail. It made us feel like home. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Northern Ireland.

The room was very nicely presented and lovely and clean as was the en-suite,Lots Of space to hang clothes etc.Lovely views from the room and location beautiful with the mountains on one side and the sea on the other side.Sam is a very friendly & welcoming host.Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room for guests on the 1st floor where there were beautiful views of the surrounding mountains & countryside. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast available.Was really nice to be able to check out around 11 to 12 o’clock as a lot of bed & breakfast establishments state an earlier vacate so this was very appreciated.(thank you Sam) Would highly recommend a stay here.We visited Newcastle & The Silent valley and wish we could of stayed longer.

Nothing the room was very nicely presented and had lots of space and very comfortable.The host is very friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was very good, I especially enjoyed the sausages from a local butchers. Views all around were beautiful. Peaceful and quiet.

Room was cold at night time. Why on earth would anyone with an ensuite at the front of the house have the toilet beside a clear window? Had to keep the blind down at all times. It wouldn't take much to frost over the window.

Our breakfasts were delicious and our host went out of his way to ensure we had everything to our taste. He insisted on getting up extra early on the day we left for the ferry to cook breakfast rather than just leave us a continental selection.

A privacy screen on the shower room window would have been preferable to the blind which reduced the light. A repair to the faulty vent on the window would reduce the draft.

Beautiful B&B, gorgeous views - even with the bad weather we experienced. Room was lovely and spacious, very modern with all you need. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection and very tasty! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We used the hot tub one evening and would recommend this, it was very relaxing. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

We were thrilled with this home/B.B.Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who couldn't accommodate my husband & myself enough with any of our needs.My husband has limited mobility & he was so friendly & made sure of all the comforts we needed for our stay.Can not thank him & his wife(who popped by to meet us before leaving)enough.Highly recommended..😊💞

The bedroom was huge and the bed comfortable. The cooked breakfast was tasty, although there was not a particularly varied menu on offer. There are great views from the upstairs breakfast room and we were offered the use of a small kitchen (for fridge etc) and upstairs comfortable lounge area.

The shower could have been hotter, but the temperature control seemed fixed. The sink basin pop-up, which doesn't work properly, needed cleaning.

Had a lovely stay at Samona. Beautiful location in the Mournes, 10/15 minute drive from both Kilkeel and Annalong, as well as the silent valley and all peaks. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The complimentary fudge and muffins were a lovely touch too. Uel was a great host, very helpful with any questions we had about our stay. Also cooked an excellent fry which set us up nicely for the days hike! Overall would highly recommend!

Perfect location for a nearby wedding. Comfy beds and rooms were clean tidy and modern with lovely views. Breakfast in the morning was just fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly! We didn’t have time to book into the hot tub but it looked fabulous too
