very smart , clean and tidy place . lovely snag team with good customer care

l was not impressed on checking out at Receiption l was presented with a receipt of £74 which l was supposed to have used at the bar ? l did not have any drinks at the bar but someone else did and said they were in room 308 which is where l was ? They even signed on the recept😌 After some chats amongst staff and management l was told sorry we will sort that out you can go. l expected a call or some email to let me know who and why someone would use a room no they were not booked in to have drinks and put their signature

We had a small issue in the restaurant but the staff were superb and organised and sorted the issue quickly. We also had a small issue in the spa but the staff again were fantastic, and the customer service was excellent. It was really nice and very professional to see that the staff in both the restaurant and spa communicated well and we were given nice treats by way of apologies. We were at the hotel to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday and a lot of effort was made by the hotel to make her day special. The hotel was very clean, facilities lovely and we had a very happy stay. Thank you.

Great welcoming, friendly and polite staff. I want to especially mention Nicholas at the restaurant who was so gracious and accommodating. The loveliest smile every day. Breakfast was excellent; quality ingredients; very tasty and a lovely variety of continental and cooked choices. Beautiful gardens, very well kept and a lovely gym, pool and spa. I had a very good back, neck and shoulder massage.

If I have to nit pick the hotel has a few areas that are a bit dated, but it is all well kept. The restaurant dinner prices in my opinion are a bit expensive, and with only 4 items from which to choose a main course, only 2 out of the 3 items were appealing to me, only one item was vegetarian and there were no pasta offerings. Although I also appreciate that people need to be paid their worth £110 for a full body massage is very steep.

I had a lovely stay for one night at the Spa Hotel. I really needed a rest and I got it. The room and bed were comfortable and the television was good quality and easy to operate. I didn't hear the other guests at all. paid £4.50 to have room service breakfast and it was worth it! I didn't use any other facilities. I can recommend this hotel.

I struggled to find a place to put my big suitcase. The room was quite full which not much space around the bed. I had to move things around the room to open the luggage stand to open the suitcase. I have arthritis in my hands and would have appreciated a concierge service. There was a lift, but even on the second floor I had to negotiate a few stairs up and down, which for me is with some difficuty.

I was welcomed by a lovely lady who I encountered throughout my stay - I was early as I booked a massage at the spa and so left my bag which on return to check in had been delivered to my room ready. The bathroom was lovely and bright bed was well made and comfy and the room was spacious enough for me! I pre-booked breakfast time at check in but was advised this is loosely applicable - the waitress who cared for me here was great! I had been unwell all evening and she kept checking I was ok. At check out the lady at the desk (so sorry I don’t remember a name! - blonde with glasses) even remembered me and my room number which is impressive for a hotel that was actually fairly busy due to lots of weddings! Always a nice touch and gives feeling of being cared for. Massage at the spa was ok (could have been firmer but I think she was doing her best!) and I wish I had had time to explore the spa and gym area more.

Room had no fridge which meant no cold water to drink as this was just in a cupboard as well as unable to put own drinks in to chill even if there was no mini bar service. Aircon buttons were so filthy dirty with visible grime that I had to wash my hands after turning this on. During the night (around midnight) the fire alarm went off - long enough for me to be dragged out of bed to dress and prepare to go outside but by the time I reached the door it stopped - there was some shouting and running in the corridors so not sure what happened there. It also went off at around 8:40am… Although I was pleased to know the alarm worked being unwell and in bed at 9:30pm to be rudely awakened was less than pleasant.

Gorgeous hotel, looks stunning from the outside and within. The cosy double room was comfortable in size, comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. The grounds were pretty, a lot of open space to walk around at the back of the hotel, including a pond. Very peaceful and the hotel never felt over crowded. We paid for breakfast which was worth it. Breakfast was lovely and they had an extensive menu to order from, not just the usual english fry up. The pool was nice and warm and the spa massages were amazing!! Really good location, 5 min drive to town centre.

The room had poor halogen lights so it was poorly lit. The room could have been cleaner, we did notice dust in the wardrobes and on the light fixture/blinds. The saunas are pretty small but there is one for men and another for women.

Lovely friendly staff. Great location. Clean facilities. I treated myself to a short little break away and was so pleased I chose the spa hotel. I stayed in one of the suites and it was just perfect. Ate dinner and breakfast which was so lovely and a great choice on offer. I booked a 55 min aromatherapy massage which was amazing. Staff in spa were lovely.

I loved the property and would definitely stay again. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the duration of my massage. I went in slightly early (got to the spa reception at 16:45, so it was probably about 16:55 by the time the massage started. Then when I left the spa after my treatment the time was 17:37 so I think the treatment had probably finished at 17:30. It was an amazing treatment so no complaints there but for the money paid I would’ve appreciated it being the 55 mins advertised.

Really lovely hotel with great spa facilities in beautiful grounds. Would be a fantastic place to get married. Had a nice relaxing 2-day break there and wish we could have stayed longer. Not cheap but good value considering what a beautiful place it is. Onsite charging for our electric car was good. Flat charge of £12

The only slight problem was it was a little further from the centre of town than we expected. Had to get taxis to the town centre and The Pantiles but these were only around £7 each way. In better weather you could probably walk to The Pantiles in about 15 minutes but it is up hill coming back

The staff seemed to really care. We had an issue with noise from what turned out to be an extractor fan or some such thing. After we mentioned/complained about it and we saw the manager actively looking for the source of the noise. They found it and fixed it AND gave us a complimentary drink to apologise. We weren't expecting a free drink but the fact that they offered this as well as actually finding and fixing the issue we had was hugely appreciated.

The walk into the town might be a bit much for people with more limited mobility

Staff are very nice. Excellent Room, clean and very comfy. Steam room and spa is clean and modern, (see comment below) Overall we would definitely stay again. Location for tunbridge wells and surrounding area is great.

Both mornings at breakfast, the waiters could not get our order right even though we ordered the same both mornings. The bar looked and felt more like a canteen, I remember many many years ago the bar used to be really nice and a pleasant place for a drink. The Spa facility layout is not very user friendly with the gents sauna and mixed steam room in the main walkway of the spa to and from the changing rooms to the pool and gym. However they are clean and tidy and quite modern. The steam room is really nice, big and modern.
