Great selection for breakfast, both hot and cold, the room was compact which was perfect for staying on my own, all super clean and loved the modern spacious bathroom. Lovely long nature walk in the grounds too through the woods and seating in the open areas too.
Seemed very short-staffed at breakfast time with nobody to greet me, and I couldn't find anyone to ask. A few others I saw were looking lost as well because we didn't know the procedure. First day was table service in the conservatory, then the second day was full self-service buffet in a different room and it took me a while to find this out. Better signage would be helpful.

The ease to get to Tunbridge Wells. I had 6 rooms booked for a birthday celebration in Tunbridge Wells. The ease of parking, very reasonably priced accommodation & distance from town made this a no brainer.
We had been told the bar would be open until midnight, but we had to share the barman with a wedding taking place in another part of the hotel, meaning our bar was locked for long periods of time. This was frustrating when trying to get drinks on our return to the hotel & as we were celebrating my 60th birthday & I didn’t want the celebration to end so early.

The estate is really beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the extensive grounds, including the 'fairy trail' . The staff on reception and at breakfast were very friendly, efficient and welcoming. The view from the conservatory and lounge area is magnificent - a really stunning setting.
We stayed in 'Canterbury' block and while the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, they are a bit on the small side. The bed was also very small for a couple (it seemed smaller than a regular double), and the mattress needed replacing. Finally, it would be good to have a bit more tea and milk in the rooms please.

Room was in an annex block and was extremely well fitted out and the bathroom looked new. Bed was comfortable. Had a delicious buffet breakfast in the main building the next day. The grounds of the Salomons estate were well worth exploring with lots of pretty features. It was also very interesting finding out about the various Salomon family members in the two rooms set up as a museum. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative.
The only downside for us was the walk up from the main hotel to the annex accommodation after breakfast which was very steep. For elderly people and people with mobility issues, it would be better to drive down and park near the house itself.

The main house is a beautiful facility. Can sit and drink tea in lovely surroundings at a reasonable price. Breakfast was fabulous and the estate itself is delightful! All staff encountered were friendly.
The accommodation itself was a bit underwhelming. Creaky and a little spartan. The rooms themselves were clean and nicely provisioned but every step you (and everyone else) takes makes a noise. Also a good walk from the main reception. Parking plentiful overall but a little tricky finding space near the accommodation. Despite these negatives thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The estate is set within beautiful grounds. The room within the Broomhill complex was clean and had a private bathroom with enclosed shower cubicle. Breakfast was included in my overnight price, I had the option of continental or full English. I chose full English which was served promptly and was of a good standard. Check in and out was easy and reception was available 24/7.
The Broomhill complex wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing. It was noisy when anyone came in or out, the floors bounced in the corridor and it didn't really fit with the rest of the estate. It was comfortable though , but just maybe not what I was expecting.

Very well equipped and spacious accommodation in a quiet location. Ample parking very close to the cottage. Good TV and facilities. Great bathroom with under floor heating. Everything was clean and tidy. Dog friendly with tiled flooring throughout and a nice walking area adjacent to the cottage. Good pubs nearby for food and drink. Historic house and gardens and close to attractions such as Hever Castle and Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Mattress wasn't the most comfortable, and is only a 4'6" wide bed. Memory foam is cheap these days! No restaurant onsite in the evenings and no cooked breakfast available during our stay.

I love a cooked breakfast and the bacon and sausages looked good and were of a good quality. The room was neat and tidy and well located.
I was surprised there were no fresh tomatoes or baked beans; you normally get those options with cooked breakfasts. An option for how the eggs were cooked would also have been nice. I understand there are a lot of groups staying at the hotel, but more 1 or 2-person settings would also have been good.

Loved the house. Plenty of parking. Cleanliness was excellent. Bathrooms lovely.Kitchen equipment was extensive. The items left for breakfast were great(as kitchen was closed for the 1st morning). The served breakfast in the main building was tasty. The museum detailing the family who owned the property was very interesting. Gym was well equipped and the walks in the extensive grounds maintained. Staff all very polite and helpful. We loved our stay and would go back.
Needed oven gloves, tea towels, washing up brush/cloths. The settee sofa bed was not really where expected....thought it would be in the lounge area but was in a side room off of the kitchen which was the walk through access to the master bedroom and there were no doors in the doorways to have any privacy so maybe OK for children. No mirror in the top double bedroom or bathroom except a shaving mirror or landscape mirror in hallway. Having the outside light already on would have been helpful when accessing the key safe. Coat rack and door mat inside the hall way would be useful.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and comfortable room, friendly reception staff.
Breakfast choices very limited for a vegan, slightly better for a vegetarian but even going relatively early the eggs were like rubber and staff were in and out rather than having one present for guests to ask for alternatives. This was a small issue overall and if I’d been a meat eater would have hardly registered but I’ve been to places before where vegan sausages could be requested at registration.
