It was a stay for 3 male colleagues. The accommodation provided 2 rooms with a double bed in each, which I knew, no problem. I asked for 2 separate duvets for the double bed that was to be shared by 2 male colleagues. The hotel staff provided us with them - greatly appreciated. Also, it was agreed we could check out the next day at the latest possible option: 13:00. We appreciated that too as we did not have to wait longer at the airport for our next flight. Also the opportunity to sit outside in the back yard was good.

It would be handy to have 2 bowls and 2 tablespoons per room for the breakfast that we bought in the local supermatket.

1 night stay, before flying, really can't complain, comfortable bed, some toiletries, clean, close to airport. Phoned host as tv not working, he arrived within 5 minutes and attempted to fix, very nice man. Worth the money, This is definitely not the hilton, but if thats what you want pay the hilton prices. Would we stay again ? YES. Just to note, the pub accross the road do not do food, there is a kebab van in pub car park, who will bring food into the pub for you as long as you buy a drink in the pub, couldn't be more friendly

Broken tiles in bathroom, which could cut your feet, could do with updating

The owner was extremely helpful. He even knocked on my door at 3.15 am to wake me up for my early morning flight. He provided lots of interesting information about where to eat, how to get to the airport, etc. The property is basic and at first sight a little ramshackle and improvised but the room was comfortable, well-equipped, large and warm. If you have an early flight from Stansted Airport, this place is perfect and so much cheaper than the hotels at the airport. The early morning buses leave from the bus stop opposite the property at 0343 and 0543 and take 5 minutes to the terminal.

Regular and cheap bus transfers to and from Stansted airport. Clean, well presented room with its own door/access in and out of the property. Comfy bed - hot shower and quiet.

No bin for general waste. No hair dryer. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom so things got very hot and steamy. The kettle in the room looked yellow and old, and it did not switch itself off when boiling, so this may potentially be a safety hazard. The teabags were not individually wrapped so we were reluctant to use them.

Don't see where some of the previous comments come from, but I have full praise for this place. They say, you get what you pay for., well for the price I paid, I wasn't expecting the proprietor to be so happy to come let me in over an hour after my requested check in time (it was half past midnight when I actually arrived). The bed was more than comfortable, good shower, kettle with tea/coffee. Proximity to the airport is brilliant. I would/ will stay here again without a doubt. Many thanks

Everything was perfect for my needs, I had an extended stay as it was close to the airport for my work (cabin crew) I left at 4.30am on my last day fully intending to return after I finished my shift, to pay for my parking as there were no staff available at that time of day, they called however and in a guesture of good will waived my outstanding charge. I would still very happy to go and pay it however. Even with parking fee I would wholly recommend this hotel, I felt safe, was comfortable and able to come and go at unsocial hours due to the nature of my work. Would definitely use this hotel again should the need arise. My grateful thanks to the staff and management ☺️

Close to the airport, cheap bus ride, clean, with fridge, comfortable if basic.

Coming from the bus stop after the traffic lights it was difficult to find. It wasn't too obvious that the bell to ring wasn't the one on the front door. So the manager wasn't too pleased at first, but was kind enough afterwards. There was no waste basket provided. I didn't know how to get the shower to work. I tried to contact the manager, but in the end another guest who was just leaving very kindly turned back and took time to show me. There were no written instructions as far as I'm aware. But having said all this, I was very grateful for the provision and the good night's sleep ahead of a long trip. It was good value for the price. Thank you!

Firstly, we want to thank the host for welcoming us very warmly, telling us about the city, and being very attentive to ensure our stay was pleasant. The room itself was tidy, and we found everything we needed for our two-night stay. It is very close to the airport, which was convenient for us. There is a bus stop nearby. Also, there is a tasty kebab kiosk and a bar to grab some food. We were satisfied. A great place for travelers and those looking to stay close to the airport.

The room was huge, and had a double bed, sofa and TV. It was on 2 levels with the bathroom downstairs. The room was clean and great and the location was amazing with the bus stop directly outside and only a 5 min ride to the airport. The price was great for this.

The only downside was the fridges downstairs were very unclean. I went to store some food inside and decided not to because of this. For the price however, I can't really complain.

I loved that the room was very clean and ready when I checked in, The host was super friendly and helpful. Spoke briefly with him on the phone on arrival but my phone was dropping the call. He later came in to check on me if all was ok and reassured me if I needed anything not to hesitate in contacting him.

The Shower was hot for a change most places I have stayed in have missed this one and had to take cold showers.
