The lady who owns this property is gorgeous, very warm and welcoming... its worth going just to meet her! Very very peaceful, lots of parking, off the beat and track Breakfast was plentiful, easy, accommodating and good quality. By far the best butter I've ever had Immaculately clean

Shared (carpetted) bathroom albeait immaculate. I did go in the morning and found another resident really did think they were at home and had not flushed. It could be clearer in the description that it is essentially one shared bathroom between multiple rooms. You are staying in their house, so literally a guest in a Home.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Valerie, who provided a thorough tour of her beautiful home, the picturesque setting of Lillium house is nothing short of a countryside dream. Valerie's warm welcome set the tone for a memorable stay, and her attentiveness throughout my visit was truly remarkable. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat in the countryside, hosted by a genuinely wonderful person, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Lillium House.

It was a lovely old farmhouse with a beautiful central staircase and amazing rooms off. The bedroom I stayed in was perfect for one with ample room and ‘THE’ most comfortable bed. The bathroom had just been fitted and to a very high standard. In the morning the breakfast room was all set for everyone to sit together, which I thought was a lovely touch. Then the breakfast was freshly cooked and served and was absolutely delicious and set me up for the day ahead.

I liked everything about the placeI. I travel all the time and have stayed in many places, from 7* to bedsits. This is one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed in. The place is warm, it is spotless, very welcoming. The room is just the right size for a single with a large window with a lovely view. The best thing is that you can enjoy the view while you are sitting on a sofa. The bathroom is immaculate. The breakfast was more than excellent. From the right sweetener to the large coffee with milk to the classical music playing in the background and with the Christmas decorations and dining table setting, it felt like home. The owner is very welcoming and cheerful. All in all it is a wonderful experience, I would recommend the place everyday and twice on Sunday. I would like to thank the owners for making me feel so welcome.

The location is a bit off the track if you need to be in town, but for the experience I am willing to travel the extra miles.

The rooms were very well appointed. Everything was at a high standard and made the stay feel extra special. The host Valerie was thoughtful, and frequently went above and beyond what was required, helping us make the most of our time in the area. The house is a family home with three generations living either there or nearby, and as a father myself the (perfectly quiet) day-to-day goings on made Lillium House feel more like a home than a hotel, which I really appreciated. The morning breakfast was out of this world. I want to go back and see more of the area, just as an excuse to stay there again.

There was nothing I did not like. The place is a little remote in that the closest shops etc. are, practically speaking, a drive away and not a walk away. But for us that was a plus.

We are a family of 4 and had 2 rooms. The main room was outstanding. The boys small double was OK. The owner was friendly, down to earth and welcoming. The small extras were really lovely, such as robes, slippers, toiletries and an honesty box for forgotten essentials. The boys were fascinated by the house and its nik naks. The breakfast was really great. It's a working family home but still felt like a treat and so much more personal than a chain hotel.

We only started for one night so this wasn't a problem but the location is in the middle of nowhere.

The house is lovely, the rooms really spacious and the bathroom was fabulous. The breakfast options were extensive - pretty much anything you could ask for. A wonderful host too, very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room even had the holy grail - a mirror with a plug point next to it so you could dry your hair easily!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property

The hosts were excellent, Very friendly. The room was beautiful, very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was beautiful. We could not fault our visit at Lillium House. We will definitely use Lillium House again if we ever need to stay in that area again.

The only thing we found slightly difficult was finding the location...it did have a large sign before entering the location but if you're coming from Fishburn you can miss it as it is near the hedge. But other than that we had no problems whatsoever.

The room and all facilities were excellent and we were warmly greeted on arrival. The house was set among fields and very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was cooked perfectly to our individual choice.

The only downfall for us arriving in an ordinary saloon car was the very long, pot hole filled dusty drive from the main road which was unsuitable for our vehicle.

Welcoming host. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast. Attention to detail. Valerie (host) was delightful and couldn't do enough for us, also told us a little interesting history about her property. Be aware this is someone's home when visiting be respectful. Just a little off the beaten track so transport is a must but wonderfully peaceful for a visit if passing through. Hope to visit again in the future 🙏😁🙏
