Very spacious room with large comfy bed. Huge bathroom with double sinks, bath and shower. Lots of hot water. Breakfast enjoyable with good selection. Our room overlooked the lake which was very picturesque.

Would have liked to have been able to open the bedroom window wider. We did however find a fan but not until the morning. Had a bit of a scare when booking in, told we didn't have a room and would have to move to the sister hotel " The Impeccable Pig". As we were staying as a family with the wedding party reception kindly managed to sort. Thank you for that.

Location was immaculate, the views, gardens, and grounds beautiful. The hotel and buildings were amazing, and the rooms were huge but cosy and a great price.

The toilets facilities were welcoming. However, I don't understand why there weren't any toilet brushes in the men's cubicles opposite Coleman suite 1-3. It meant the toilets weren't as clean as you would expect from a place as beautiful and in the immaculate setting as the Hardwick Hall hotel. Rooms were very warm, and room 416 where I stayed appeared to have no windows to open.

Large comfortable rooms and huge bathroom with excellent shower

This was our 21st time staying at the Hardwick and always been happy with the cleanliness however on this occasion i noticed the carpets had been severely marked or stained. There was also what appeared to be a blood mark on the matress sheet. As far as the hotel services go i was disappointed to note that the newspaper service has been withdrawn which was understandable during the pandemic but there is no excuse now especially as we are so close to the Racecourse and racegoers such as ourselves would like a morning racing post.

Lovely stay overall, friendly staff, great choice for breakfast. Lovely size room, great views.

We found debris in the bathroom near the bath, shower would run scalding hot if a tap was used or toilet flushed. Also shower seemed basic compared to rest of the room. No air con so room was stifling hot even with the provided fan. Bags and keys which had been left prior to check got lost and took 15mins to be located

Property was lovely. staff were friendly. We were there for a friends wedding and it was really well put together. We arrived quite late on the Friday night and we’re still welcomed in the hotel restaurant so that was amazing.

The hotel was absolutely boiling the entire time we were there. It made it a little difficult to sleep. We had the window open during the day but as it was a full length window didn’t feel safe having it open a night.

Location, Lake, Run, People. and QUIET... Very QUIET. Was lovely. I travel all over the world on business, and this is a great hotel. From Hong Kong and normally, Asian hotels are far far better. Hardwick, it great!

No A/C... We were lucky with the weather. If it was really hot, then A/C would be required. Also, no gym. Most hotels now offer this as a matter of course. Gyms are not expensive and would be a good addition.

The place is huge ,different rooms all with bars and restaurants . we ate at the rib room and it was spectacular .there was always plenty of smiling happy members of staff around to help in any way

the room was huge, nice bathroom and a comfy bed .the skirting round the room was thick with dust and there were thick spiderwebs round the window box, it was a shame as it just needed wiping with a damp cloth to sort out ,

Lovely room. No fridge though considering it was a deluxe room. The bath and shower were amazing. Bed was really comfy, but the pillows let it down. Either really thick or really thin. Didn't eat here, but the Old Mill at the old metal bridge was amazing for food, 10 minutes away. Lovely Lake view from the room. Beautiful grounds.

The pillows and lack of fridge in the room.

As always, a staff can ruin an excellent venue or make a dive. How lucky we were we had the best of both worlds! Very happy with our stay, both comfortable and a delicious breakfast. Thank you to the staff at going above and beyond. The Moores
