Very well-situated for Ironbridge museums. Staff in all parts of the hotel were incredibly helpful. Level of customer service is very high. Hotel facilities are very comfortable with space to relax outside the room and great views from the bar terrace. Spa changing areas clean and well-presented. Breakfast and meals in bar were excellent.

Pool was large but fairly cold. Family swimming is in 2, 3hr shifts and not available before 9 (these are well-advertised but not before arrival). Pool area could use additional monitoring by staff as a number of people were using mobile phones and laptops with no clear safeguarding guidance during family swim. Users were not always mindful of others.

Overall, I was pleased with everything. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was very good and I liked the fact that the trays were replenished frequently so that food wasn't sitting for long periods of time.

two things. Didn't like the inflexible booking in time which caused a rush and long wait at 3pm. Most hotels allow you to book in if a room is ready. I had booked 4 rooms and one of my party was charged an extra £25 for being allowed to book into what was obviously a ready room 40 minutes early. Secondly, I booked some rooms direct with the hotel and some via Booking.com. Booking .com was substantially cheaper for the same rooms.

Breakfast except for raucous golf players why do they shout? decaf tea hooray. Excellent complimentary things in room. Bathrooms wonderful. Beautiful surroundings.

We had the Caesar salad in the bar which was horrendous it was a slab of chicken very hard. instead of croutons there were bits of bread crusts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! maybe 4cm shapes. I always seem to visit while there id a tournament going on its a pity you cannot cordon them off. Would like to have watched tennis. Shame no Sky Sports. I always get lost in the corridors.

There was a warm welcome, and although rooms weren’t available as we were early we were invited to use the facilities. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast catered for a wide range of tastes, dinner and wine was enjoyed by all, there were plenty of staff on hand. The room was clean, larger than expected and was very comfortable. Included an iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The pool was a delight to use.

Not sure there’s anything not liked. A couple more packets of biscuits in the room would be appreciated.

the setting, the hotel staff, the room, it all exceeded our expectations and we were very happy staying here for one night on a quick trip

the spa staff, very hostile and rude, as guests we weren’t aware of certain rules using the health club and were approached by one member of staff whom was extremely rude towards us not knowing a rule, it could have been explained far calmer and nicer, then once briefly explained she sat there expecting us to know what to do next with signing in and getting a key, we’ve never been to this hotel spa before so how are we to know? kindness is everything in this world and for a front of house health club staff member I expected a lot better, absolutely let down by this

The staff were lovely, a nice blend of professional and approachable, went above and beyond to help make my stay more comfortable. Great facilities, including a clean pool. Nice food - would definitely recommend breakfast included and trying their dinner for an evening.

I like to recycle and there was nowhere to put recyclables, I tried to split then up but whoever cleaned my room didnt take them. Only a minor improvement Phone in my room didn't work, staff offered to bring everything up so no complaints, but may be one to check in future

Check in excellent. room really clean. Cannot fault breakfast as usual. Booked a single room for myself loads of space bed very large, Wife daughter + two children in another family room. Plenty of room for all four of them. could have done with a fridge. Ample coffee tea supplied, with children maybe fruit juice or water included.

There was nothing the family disliked with either the rooms or facilities. Good time allocations for Children's swimming. would have liked a location where children & and babies could be taken, so as not to upset other guests.

This is the best choice in Telford if you don't mind travelling to the Exhibition Centre every morning. Your stay will be serene and comfortable because it is situated in the middle of a golf course. Excellent bar and restaurant. I wish the spa section had a few more alternatives.

While the restaurant and wellness personnel were exceedingly helpful and courteous, the receptionists were the polar opposite. Aside than that, there isn't anything to complain about.

The fitness centre looked incredible and I wish I had the time to use it. The dinner was wonderful as well as breakfast with staff being extremely attentive and prices very reasonable. The view at breakfast was gorgeous and was a lovely fresh start to my morning.

The room only has lights near the door and in the bathroom and a few lamps. This did make the room slightly darker and as it was at the back of the building I got no extra sun light. The decor in the hotel was a little dated in the rooms but lovely in the reception and dining area.

Room - much bigger than anticipated and good quality furnishings. 6 foot wide bed very, very comfy. Thick curtains. Breakfast - good ingredients and lots of choice. All staff we encountered were friendly and quick to help. Swimming pool - good size, sauna & steam room good. Bed & breakfast stay was very good value. Parking - lots of well lit parking spaces in front of hotel and round to the side. Location - only about 2 miles from the Gorge, so easy to get to attractions and places to eat. Will highly recommend!

Didn't eat in hotel as too expensive for us. However, I'm sure the food was lovely. Plenty of alternative local eating places within 2/3 miles. Spa didn't seem to have many towels available for pool, so we took our own from the room. Room was quite warm on arrival, so we turned off heating and opened the windows, to have a comfortable sleep.
