The room was very comfortable, clean, there was coffee and tea facilities provided, a toilet and bathroom in my room with no need to share with people that I don't know. The staff that I met were all genuinely friendly and helpful and many of the customers that I met in the hotel were individuals who had stayed at the hotel before and returned because they had enjoyed their previous stays. There is a very comfortable reception area and bar with a brilliant view of the pier and there was a Buddy Holly tribute act on providing entertainment which was enjoyable.

As I am six-foot tall, the shower was on the small size for myself. The hotel was not providing meals during my stay but, the hotel is next door to a well known pub restaurant chain which was very convenient. The hotel reception closed at 11pm during my stay, so you have to enter the hotel through a nearby door after entering a code number.

Enjoy Live outdoor Music & DJ, all day on Saturday, till 10pm, music was setup outdoor at the adjacent looking hotel, All 3 adjacent hotels share a very large outdoor garden, which is separated by 3 way private fencing, You can enjoy the live music from your room balcony or room terrace or outdoor furnishrd garden, Enjoyed my 60th birthday stay, great reception & staff, easy checkin with my booking app, you get a room key, free indoor & outdoor wifi, Guests are replenished with free tea/coffee/milk on daily basis by morning cleaners, but if you run out during the day then bar charge 20p each, My Groundfloor Room had a garden view & room had another glass door for access to outdoor shared terrace, a terrace with your own table, & your terrace also gives access for easy walk to the bar, Great layout for a single bed room, plenty of mains sockets, excellent lighting in room & bathroom, hot shower, small soap provided, Bar is open 24/7 for staying guest, & non residents are welcome to the bar maybe up to 10pm, bar happy hour on Sunday from 2pm-5pm, for my meals i went out to nearby places, Adjacent hotels with shared garden, seem friendly with non residents visiting different bars.

Everything was great.

I don't often do these as I'm away enough to make such form filling almost a chore but here I simply have to say a few words about what an excellent choice the Royal Grosvenor Hotel was. From its location and our wondrous room with a view, through the old-world charm of an England half forgotten, to the staff and their unlimited willingness to go the extra mile this was a most enjoyable 3-day 2-night stay far from the madding crowd. If anybody would like to sample what a real English hotel used to be like then here it is epitomised. We did not take breakfast but I can imagine it also would have fitted the bill. Not flash, not all singing and dancing, but 100% genuine, 100% real and 100% worth returning to

The breakfast was nice with good choices and staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a spectacular view of the seafront better than I expected. Would love this room again if we stay again.

It was disappointing that the breakfast wasn’t included in the price of room as I have a condition where I can’t eat a lot so ended up paying the same £13 as others who had a lot of the breakfast items. My mum also only had a bowl of cereal, toast and tea and that was £13 also so a bit expensive for what we had. The lift didn’t open on a couple of occasions so we had to use the stairs and as our room was on the second floor it was a lot for my mum who’s not long had a knee replacement.

Great location right on the sea front and small car park at the back. We rang ahead to check as space was available and we were not charged. Nice big family room with a decent sized en suite. Sea view which was lovely. Staff on desk very helpful and easily arranged for us to stay a second night and keep the room we had. The decking area was lovely for an afternoon drink. A very hearty cooked breakfast though basic choice other than that.

Room was very warm as window only opened a crack. We stayed mid week in May half term and it was quiet when we arrived but by Friday there was different atmosphere (Wetherspoons is right next door) and there were a huge group of blokes staying who started on the pints straight after breakfast. To be fair, the hotel does advertise that it welcomes groups.

It was easy to find, Lorraine who served me was excellent and helped change my room when I requested it and was most helpful and polite. The room I was given was large and comfortable but the view was not of the seaside which was impossible as the the hotel didn't face that way.

The room was too hot and I could only open the window an inch. There was no air con or fan and it was very hot in there. The noise at night from the drunk customers sat outside at the Wetherspoons next door and then wandering around the area shouting at each other and singing all night on Fri and Sat night was quite loud.

Everything was 1st class from the onset ,we were a party of 28 all arriving at different times, all staff members went above and beyond were really friendly, helpful and professional , check in very simple and easy, rooms were ready on arrival , car parking outside , the whole hotel was very clean and my room was amazing I had a flat with 2 bedrooms, The bed was lovely and comfortable The balcony with sea view was a bonus although a little cold to use in November ,all my party were happy with their rooms breakfast was cooked to perfection with a great choice of menu , the hotel allowed me to provide a buffet for my party supplied by the amazing Maria's catering company and accommodated us re arranging the room we overtook the bar area ,the evening entertainment provided was outstanding and the whole party commentated on a spectacular night , the location is fantastic only a short walk to the centre for shopping and bars I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Weston and I will certainly book again.

The only negative was finding the room for the 1st time, there were lots of corridors to navigate , a few more signs on the doors might be beneficial

All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful - especially 'Louise' who was absolutely exceptional in ever respect. We arrived from Norfolk on Friday evening, 10 Nov. This happened to be 'Carnival 'night in Weston-s-mare. We phoned when we were 10 mins away and were concerned about road blocks etc., and did not know how to get to our pre booked car park slot. We phoned and spoke with Louise. It was a very cold night. Louise gave us good directions and said she would be there to meet us. She was stood outside in the cold waiting for us as we drove. She quickly and very helpfully got us sorted and accompanied us up into the hotel personally. She quickly helped us sort out what we should do etc and got us to our rooms. When we came down from our rooms we asked if the hotel restaurant was open as wee needed something to eat. It was already closed for the day so she advised us where we could eat nearby. We tried but everywhere was completely full -p because of the carnival. We came back to the hotel and Louise saw us and asked if we had found somewhere to eat. She very kindly directed me to a very close fish and chip shop saying that if we could make do with this to eat then please bring them back to the hotel and we could eat them in the warm in the bar. Fantastic help and service. We will definately come back to this hotel again an will be recommending it to others. Also, the breakfast was excellent.

Pilliows wer a bit hard and uncomfortable, Bath towels could be a bit larger. A couple of complimentary toileteries in the bathroom would hav ben helpful.

Great location for local nightlife and the beach - rooms were much bigger than they looked in the photographs, lovely and clean and bed was very comfortable. Hairdryer in room and tea /coffee facilities. Would def recommend reserving a parking space on site as parking very limited nearby. Didn’t eat at hotel so can’t comment on food - all the staff we saw were friendly and helpful.

En-suite bathrooms although lovely and clean and adequate- the one in my room was very small - wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, just an observation and a larger person may have found it a struggle to access the shower .

My partner and I have stayed at this hotel many times, it is a lovely clean hotel. Management and staff are very friendly and respectful. The location is fantastic. We love it here.

We were enjoying a quiet drink in the bar, the restaurant manager came and sat with us to see where we ate etc. Her manner and attitude was very rude, saying we must eat at the hotel because anywhere else would be no good. This manager was newly appointed to bring in custom and new sales. The hotel is fab but after this encounter we wouldn't bother trying the restaurant because of the restaurant manager attitude. 😡
