Derek & Suzanne are wonderfully kind and thoughtful hosts. Very central property, right on the front, which was great for us as my mum has some mobility issues, so reducing walking time was helpful. Within walking distance of all the main central attractions (dangerously close to Rossi’s ice creams, the best ice cream in Weymouth!), restaurants, bus stops and the railway station (we came by public transport). Rooms and communal areas spotless, rooms nicely-converted. Room comforts you don’t usually get, like a cafétière. Comfortable lounge and breakfast area. Breakfasts were all excellent, freshly cooked, well-cooked, quality food. If you need to leave luggage after checkout on your last day, this is possible, which was great for us as we could enjoy our last day.
There wasn’t anything!

The decor is very artistic and tasteful. The facilities are very clean. The shower was excellent! Breakfast which was inckuded in the rate was delicious and very healthy ( home made sourdough bread with delicious eggs and mushrooms, Greek yogurt with berries, crumpets, fresh fruit, wonderful coffee and non diary available) The warm welcoming from Derrick ( the owner,) who was a fabulous host made our stay a very enjoyable experience. He made us feel very welcome and he went out of his way to help us and accommodate us. I give 5 stars to Derrick for his courtesy and very welcoming service! We will recommend the hotel to friends and family.
The 1st day as it was a week end, the sea view room which overlooks Weymouth bay was a little bit noisy at night, so as I am very sensitive to noise, I did not sleep well. However, the other nights were much better and I had a good night sleep!

My partner and I have just returned from a stay in Weymouth, and what was a brilliant trip was made all the more enjoyable by our stay at No.98 Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greated by Derek, a great host throughout and someone who ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable with a delicious cooked to order breakfast setting us up nicely for the day ahead. This hotel is perfectly located on the sea front, within walking distance of the Town Centre and the Harbour, which is full of restaurants, bars and recreational activities. If you're ever planning a stay in Weymouth, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

We loved the location and how close it was to all the main attractions in Weymouth. The room was amazing and the whole hotel was decorated to a very high standard, with nice finishing touches. Derek was a lovely host and really made the effort to make you feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was really nice and we couldn't have asked for a better trip.
That there wasn't any designated parking but that cannot be helped due to the location of the hotel. There are two car parks in short distance so was not a major problem.

Excellent find in Weymouth for our short stay in the town. We had the 'best' room in the hotel with a spectacular view over the bay, worth getting up at 5.45am to see the sun rise! Our room was bright and Sunny, nicely decorated too. We were given a warm welcome by Derek and I was particularly appreciative of the early breakfast that I needed to attend an event in the town.
While the sound of the sea is a delight, as you would expect from a room facing onto the esplanade, there can also be some noise from traffic and late night revelers!

There are many good things about this hotel, but the best are the people. Our host was absolutely lovely, he really brightened the mood, had valuable suggestions on how to best spend our time. The breakfast that we had was absolutely amazing - there were vegetarian option and an absolutely delicious home made compote. Every single detail has been thought of. The rooms have big windows, lots of light. Exceptionally clean bathrooms and towel/beddings. A vast selection of teas and cute cups. Last but not least the location is perfect. Not too loud but close to everything you need. Just couple of minutes from the station and close to the bus station if you decide to explore more. There is highly efficient communication with the hosts, they are very responsive to requests and offer parking if required. I would 100% return to this place again. A big thank you to our hosts for making this stay so amazing.

Fantastic location, room 3 situated at front of property with 2 large windows overlooking the sea, great views. The hosts were delightful even brought a bottle of processco to the room in an ice bucket with glasses for my wife’s birthday 😁 The room was airy and bright with lovely touches of colour, fresh fluffy white towels and beautiful bedding. The room had a lovely dressing table to sit and do your hair and makeup with a hairdryer provided. There was a table and two chairs to sit at and admire the views, along with a full compliment of teas and coffee, including a cafeteria and a full size kettle, beautiful China tea cups and saucers, a full size wardrobe and hangers plenty of storage for your clothes and a large TV with SKY Netflix etc Fantastic cooked breakfast using quality ingredients, definitely wouldn’t go hungry and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts .

The property was neat, cozy and at quite a prime location. Right in front of the property is a beautiful beach, we had a chance to enjoy bit of carnival and motorcycle show on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend in June. Our room was clean, quiet (opposite side of the road) and had a nice bathroom. The bed was surprisingly good with a firm mattress I usually hope but don’t get. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, we quite enjoyed the freshly cooked Eggs Benedict with a great coffee. Hosts Suzanne & Derek are very welcoming, kind and friendly. Even their granddaughter Lily seemed quite excited and getting ready to run the place, not too far down the road 🙂.
Nothing to report!

The breakfast was outstanding and so was the service. Derek and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, right on the seafront, and we had a room overlooking the sea. The room itself was lovely and well equipped - the large bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also well equipped, with lovely shower gel and a good and spacious shower. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and inviting, Derek gave us a very warm welcome. Comfortable bed Lovley extras like cafetière for coffee.
The noise from the road, but there may be constraints on double glazing ? curtains would be good as the shutter blinds do not keep out the daylight, the room was light at 05.45. When we stayed a few years ago, we had a room nearer the rear of the hotel.
