There was a gentleman on the front desk who was more than helpful, always had a friendly and welcoming smile and really made the stay better for us. Holding our bags earlier than check out and later than check out meant we were able to enjoy our stay in Weymouth more. An absolute credit to the company. Although the hotel appeared to cater to the older generation. As a young family, we felt more than welcome and never felt out of place

I personally felt the bathroom was a little too small. I appreciate it is a very old building so I don't want that to deter anyone.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location right opposite the beach. The room we had was nice a d big and with a big bathroom too.

The hotel stairs down to our room were filthy and needed a good clean. The only way to our room was to walk through the restaurant which was okay when it was quiet but not ideal when it was full of people and felt awkward.

The family room was good and comfortable. The staff were friendly but they were very few in number to after too many visitors and really busy in sorting out the issues.

I was asked to take breakfast at the bar along with my family as the dinning room was full of visitors. We had to wait for a long time ( around an hour) to get our breakfast and had very limited choice of breakfast. The staff were very busy but friendly and apologised for the delay. I will have to say its the management s problem.

Fantastic view, staff were amazing. The breakfast waitress was so funny and down to earth.

The toilet system was really wobbly and felt like I was going to break it most of the time.

Location and the staff went above and beyond

The extractor fan in the bathroom continuously leaked, the floor was puddled with water and the green bed runner was on the floor by the wardrobe on arrival to the room.

Seafront location, fabulous views of the beach. Minutes from all the usual seaside activities with loads of cafes & entertainment. Lift to most most floors always good with getting luggage to your room. Friendly, helpful staff. Housekeeping very good.

Looking a little bit tired, needs updating but would expect that from an Victorian property. Caters for the elderly more than the younger family. More chairs in the room would have been welcome as only really the beds to sit on.

We can't fault it. The room was very spacious, sea view wonderful, maybe except for the cars sound from the road in the morning, but we expected that from the location of the hotel. Hotel itself very quiet. Our 8yo enjoyed bingo and darts with dad in the evening and I enjoyed quiet hour on my own reading book and listening to the sea waves. Staff was very friendly. We didn't book breakfast so I can't comment on food.

The location was excellent and the room size, room spec and facilities were also great. We also enjoyed the in-house entertainment-especially the Elvis tribute show!!

The continental breakfast to the room was a disappointment as we’d have preferred a full English and being able to go to the dining room
