We very much enjoyed our couple of nights at the Angove. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Whilst it is obviously an old building every effort has been made to make the decor/etc welcoming. Our accommodation was roomy, although the bathroom (understandably was a little small). Breakfast was delicious, as others have mentioned. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the railway station and quite close to the old harbour, and directly across the road from the town beach. Would have no hesitation recommending.

Bathroom could have been a little bigger, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Lovely location, easy to walk into the town and beach across the road! Vanessa and Simon were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed Clear to see they've put a lot of love and character into their home and guest accommodation, and it's still ongoing with plans to further improve. Beautifully decorated bedrooms. Fabulous breakfast options Added bonus, mini fridge in the room, with a great selection of hot drinks sachets and fresh milk provided, and more offered if needed. Everything was lovely, fresh and clean too. Highly recommend for a lovely stay.

If I was pushed to say something, the bathroom was small and shower not very powerful, but worked and was lovely and warm. No sea view for us but you don't go away to sit in your room 🤣 Certainly not a deal breaker.

Great location, beautiful building, warm welcome from Simon on arrival. I called ahead as we were arriving earlier than check in time & very kindly I was able to check in early. Sea view twin room was light & airy, nicely done up, comfortable & very clean throughout. So many nice touches including a mini fridge in our room. Great breakfast, lots of choice & lovely touches to the breakfast/seating area. Speedy too with Vanessa & Simon interacting with their guests which I always find preferable. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly owners pre trip & whilst staying. Really nice couple whom seem dedicated to their business. I wish them every success here. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Weymouth for an overnight stay... if its not fully booked! I recommend The Angove 😀 Thanks for a lovely stay guys 💐

Everything was spot on.

Location(right by the beachfront), decor, ambience, size of the bedroom & bathroom, hosts(friendly & polite), cleanliness, comfortable bed, eco friendly(free milk served in glass bottles & refillable too), privacy, tasty cooked breakfast, luggage storage so you can explore the area some more, miles of beaches that you can enjoy your walk or run, restaurants all around to choose from, train station is a short walk away, plenty of attractions Including the Nothe Fort, harbour is nearby, Jurassic Coast(Durdle Door) is accessible both by private & public transport.

Perhaps the early check out(10am). Maybe extend it to 11am or 12 o’clock? Some parts of the corridor floors are creaky(considering the age of the property , this is maybe expected but could have been rectified when renovations were done).

A lovely boutique hotel with lots of character,it has its own special charm and beauty. Very comfortable bed and pillow amd our room has a beautiful sea view. This place also provide hot tasty breakfast for you to start your day. Vanessa and Simon were very friendly host and they look after us very well. Highly recomended if you coming to Weymouth for a holiday. Despite the weather,we left this place feeling relax because we had a really good time staying at this hotel that has an awesome host like them.. Thank you very much!

Our room was really beautiful with stunning seaview. The added bonus was the balcony with table and chairs for us to enjoy the view. The perfect location for the beach, and the town and it's amenities are only minutes away. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection of hot and cold options. Vanessa and Simon sre perfect hosts and the Angove and it's beautiful rooms are a credit to them. Don,t hesitate to book you stay, you won't be disappointed. Thanks we will be back again.

Nothing - everything was spot on

The location is in easy walking distance of the harbour and shops, the owners are very welcoming, and are a delightful couple, I didn't come across anything they couldn't help with ie information or opinions on the local days out. The room was clean and comfortable with daily replenishment of bathroom supplies. The food was fantastic quality well cooked and plenty to choose from. The few staff they have are very polite and do an excellent job too. I can't fault any aspects of our stay and will definitely be staying there in future

Fantastic location, the owners were incredible, and their son was more than happy to help carry our luggage up the stairs. It was so clear that the owners loved doing it, which really created a happy atmosphere. The breakfast was 10/10, would have again. Overall, so accomodating and a fabulous experience.

Honestly, just so many stairs but we understand that this is often an impossible fix. We would 100% come again, but most likely book a room on a lower level (lol).

The Angove is a short walk to the centre of town with the beach opposite. Due to mobility problems we had a room at the back nearest to ground level, it was lovely and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We had Full English breakfasts but other options are available, and very enjoyable. Simon and Venessa were very welcoming and friendly not just on arrival but the whole time we were there. Nothing was to much to trouble, the towels were changed regularly and tea making facilities replaced each day. We wish them both well for the future and if we are in Weymouth again will arrange to stop at the Angove.

Very nice hotel and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious and varied with high quality products (loved the fresh fruit salad touch before the mains). Beautiful view of the sea from the room. The owner granted us a car permit which allowed us to park nearby for free which was very practical.

Room was quite warm considering the time of year and therefore duvet was a bit hot. Option of single bedsheet would be ideal in these temperatures which I’m sure would be offered if asked.
