Stunning location, really peaceful. Gorgeous room and view. Lovely bed linen and pillows, very comfortable bed. I think this was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in! Lots of nice little extras like cake, fresh milk on arrival, etc. Very helpful staff. Delicious and generous breakfast.

As the North Wing only hosts 2 couples you share a (large, spacious) breakfast table with two strangers. Many people wouldn’t mind this, and we didn’t particularly, but perhaps flexibility to have separate tables when the guests don’t know each other might be a added bonus. It did make me think it would be wonderful to return with friends or family!

Communication was brilliant, we received in depth check in details and also a call prior to arrival. The North Wing is amazing and we arrived to a very warm welcome, a tour and even cake waiting. The attention to detail is second to none. There were lots of little touches that make your stay perfect. Our breakfast was also amazing. The food, local knowledge, friendliness and being in the middle of nature make your stay unforgettable and so relaxing. Thank you so much and we will be back.

From the initial greeting upon arrival to the final departure, the experience of staying was amazing. Incredible people in a wonderful property and amazing views. We will be back!

There wasn't anything that I experienced that could possibly be disliked - except maybe that the distillery wasn't open on a Sunday (on the list for next time)

We enjoyed the history of the property, the grounds were beautiful and well kept, providing a real feeling of serenity and peacefulness. The hospitality was exceptional, both kind and thoughtful, with great attention to detail. Our breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. The Abbey has been faithfully restored, again with attention to detail and comfort in mind with sensitivity to the history of this amazing family home.

The overall feeling was one of tranquility. Everything was at a slower pace a real place to relax and unwind. Our room was delightful from the luxurious bed to the immaculate ensuite and the selection of tea and coffee. The downstairs sitting room was lovely. Breakfast was superb. Thank you Blair for the warm hospitality. Truly a unique experience.

Couldn't fault a thing.

What a stunning place to stay! From the mile long driveway, to the beautiful settings and suite, we could not fault this amazing place. And to add the finishing touch, Blair made our stay even better with his attention to detail and his wonderful cooked breakfast the next morning. We will certainly be looking to go back again in the future.

We stayed a single night but now wish our stay had been longer. We would describe the Abbey and Estate as 5 star +. The Estate Grounds, Renovated Abbey, and Suite we were given were absolutely superb. The Manager Stephan was very helpful and attended to all of our needs including providing a fantastic breakfast. A wonderful stay and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

Amazing location with incredible vistas, walks, beautiful walled gardens. North Wing was very peaceful, relaxing, and quiet. Stefan and his staff were absolutely amazing and extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were gourmet and made to order. Very luxurious in every way.

I have no criticisms at all.

We actually stayed in one of the Cottages which are just round the corner from the Abbey We stayed in Callander Cottage which was beautiful it was part of a block of old Stables which have been converted into cottages inside is spacious and incredibly comfortable it had everything you could ever need for an enjoyable stay. We had a breakfast pack left for us which included Bacon sausage eggs mushrooms tomatoes loaves both white and brown jam marmalade butter tea coffee milk so plenty to set you up for the day. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and even though it had rained the previous day with the right footwear they were a must to walk around. I can only imagine this place must be amazing in the Spring or Summer We will 100% be coming back The staff just leave you alone and when you do need anyone for and advice they were so nice.

I did not dislike anything however a bit of red and brown sauce with the breakfast pack would have been nice and I would advice you to put a torch in the car as the walk from the car park to the cottage at night is pitch black however its quite short and on a clear night the stars are amazing If that's all I can complain about then it shows what a fantastic place this is Cheers Steve and Wendy

Meet and Greet was great, all of the rooms were WOW! Really nicely decorated with really sumptuous furniture, exceptional refreshments, everywhere was quiet, clean and remote, breakfast was really luxurious, thank you Blair who was really helpful and chatty. A tranquill, peaceful stay in a luxurious place
