Everyone says the staff are amazing and I can honestly confirm ... they are! Sally on Reception was really lovely and helpful, I didn't catch his name, but the man who showed us in and served our breakfast was such a gentleman and perfect for his job , so friendly! I must mention my Cosmopolitan Cocktail. The best ever 🍸. One more mention for George. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Again, perfect balance of friendly and professional. The Hall itself is stunning. The dinner was exceptional as was the breakfast. Gardens are beautiful, don't forget to say hello to the donkeys and llamas! Such a fab place for a birthday treat 😍

Beautiful building well renovated. Very attentive and friendly staff who check you into your rooms and take your food orders in the lounge in a more relaxed and enjoyable environment. Our waiter was particularly good and professional while being funny which our guests enjoyed. We also did a tour of the grounds which was enjoyable. Rooms are small but comfortable and homely. Food at the restaurant was excellent.
Music played until after 2am (until I rang reception and asked for it to be turned down). There was an event going on, so understandable but we felt 2am was a bit too late. As such we didn’t sleep well.

We were checked in personally by Paula who was exceptional throughout our stay. Friendly, polite, professional with a great sense of humour. Gorgeous surroundings and beautifully finished rooms. The hotel offers an exceptional Breakfast and the Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was amazing.. My partner had the lamb from Sunday dinner which was absolutely delicious with a wonderful mash. The cheeseboard and Chocolate Torte were delicious. We had an intermittent noise in our room and when we called reception, we were moved quickly and efficiently to a new room. This was excellent customer service from Paula. The grounds were beautiful but we didn't have time to fully explore sadly due to a busy schedule. Being able to feed the Donkeys was fun and meeting the Lamas was pretty cool even if they are a little aloof :-) We will definitely be back and may even book our wedding here.
My Sunday dinner was a little disappointing, I had the chicken (beautifully moist), which had the pig in blanket missing, but I did receive a free drink when I challenged this. The potatoes felt a little dried up and cold, and the yorkshire pudding (which was generously given as an extra) was also cold and dry. The staff were very attentive and did all they could to overcome these issues, so no complaints needed. The morning coffee was a little weak and tepid. Even though we have identified improvements, it didn't impact on the stay, so do not be put off staying here. To be honest the staff are the shining light here, their attitude is just wonderful and sadly something we see less of these days.

What a fabulous place. We only stayed for one night but will but for more next year as it was so fabulous. A stunning view as you approach the Hall, and a lovely welcome. Beautiful bedroom and public rooms ( it is a historic house) and the food was also brilliant. Friendly courteous staff. You can even pet the alpacas and donkey belonging to the Hall. I can't praise it enough.
There was nothing which we did not like. It was so good.

A delightful place to stay for a special occasion. Staff do all they can to make it a pleasure to be there. Food is very good and eating there is relaxed and enjoyable. The public rooms are lovely to be in. The grounds are impressive.
The classic bedroom is small and lacks seating - the addition of a foldable chair would be a real benefit for a couple. The Hall is somewhat out of the way and this adds to its charm for a stay but would be a restriction for to-ing and fro-ing.

Everything was spectacular! From the moment of booking till the very end. I’ve had many asks and requests as it was my partners birthday and the team at Hawkstone Hall went above and beyond to meet it all and not once I felt that it was too much to ask and believe me when I say this there were many asks from myself 😅I can’t thank you all enough for making our stay so special and so welcoming! Staff were absolutely fantastic!( unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to ask for names, but whoever worked on 7th and 8th December - I thank you all for your exceptional service!) food extremely tasty! Our room was PERFECT! We will definitely be returning! I have stayed in many hotels in the country as outside the country and I must say this is by far the best place and best service I’ve come across! And I will for sure be recommending it to my friends and family! Thank you!
There isn’t anything that we didn’t like! Everything and everyone was perfect! Absolutely Amazing!

Service and attention to detail, and the staff who were professional and friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, comparing very well to Michelin star establishments we have been to. There was a whole Art Deco feel, down to the period alarm clock and radio in the room (along with the LCD TV). The whole experience was so much more than we expected.
The road to and from the hotel is more of a track and doesn't give a good impression of the delightfully wonderful experience you enjoy when you arrive.

Great location and very attractive house and gardens. Great service from enthusiastic staff. Wonderful views.
The bedrooms look great but the furniture is a little cheap and cheerful. The bathroom was irritating with no place to put washing things, badly positioned toilet flush and a cheap shower.

Breakfast was very good Dinners good but expensive Lovely setting in acres of country woodland Staff friendly and obliging Rooms were comfortable though shower very awkward to control from scolding hot to cold.
Tea too strong probably water taste we are not used to. Shower control was difficult to get right. Very hot to very cold with hardly any change in tap movement.

The meet and greet at the door of the hotel with a welcoming introduction and glass of champagne. The staff all made you feel so special and welcoming. The decor of the hotel was spectacular and the history was so interesting The rooms were so well presented and extremely clean. The views were spectacular and reminded you of an English county-side and so nice and peaceful. The cleanliness.
