Lovely Country Inn as described. The room was well set up with plenty of hot beverages to choose from and the shower was great, plenty hot enough and powerful. Friendly staff who made me feel welcome in the bar area. I ate there in the evening and the food was fantastic. Probably the best rump steak I've ever eaten accompanied by homemade onion rings and homemade chips. Breakfast was also lovely, lots to choose from. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if I was in the area. Thanks for having me stay 😊.

There's nothing to dislike.

The newly acquired standing fan in the bedroom was very much appreciated in the very hot weather and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The breakfast was good and as a vegan it was good to be offered alternative milk an yogurt.

It would have been really good if there was perhaps a vegan/vegetarian sausage to add to the other vegetarian elements of the full english..?

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were thoughtful touches such as plenty of tea and coffee (including decaf). The staff were exceptional, welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area, and thoughtful enough to remember my breakfast order and how I take my tea!

Very little, it was a great place to stay for a few nights

Very nice bed. Good table and chair to work on with power supply nearby. Large bathroom, nice showerpressure. Personel really friendly and helpt out with breakfast to go. I had a great dinner twice.

Carpark just next to the roomwindow. Makes a lot of nice if you have the window open while sleeping. Also a lot of traffic noise from the road ahead in the evenening and early morning.

Good choice of breakfast. We all had a cooked item as well as the continental. Good to have fruit and yoghurt. Sorry for the chef as we were the only people! The rooms were bigger than I'd expected. Extremely quiet at night. Lovely friendly staff - thank you.

We could have done with a small lounge area to relax in after the meal.

For the money, you can't go wrong here. All the things you will need are in place and and you are made to feel very welcome. It all adds up to an excellent experience and I will not hesitate to stay again and would recommend the Oliver Twist without hesitation.

Everything about the place, the room was comfortable and spacious, the food for breakfast was more than plentiful with plenty of choice, the food at night was out of this world and although the distance to Wisbech was approx 4 miles the location was in a lovely village. I would definitely go again and I am disabled. There wasn't a disabled room available when I booked but they were willing to help me as much as they could.

Excellent food. Well presented and genuinely tasty. Good ingredients and generous portions. Lovely staff. No one called us guys and they all seemed genuinely interested in their job and getting things right. Clean and attractive room.

the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was nice and clean and we both enjoyed our breakfast. I really liked the fact that you can help yourself to granola/muesli and have such a good variety of dried fruit and nuts to add to it.
