Courtyard by Marriott Auburn

When searching for this particular trip I was specifically looking for an outdoor sitting area, the pictures of their outdoor area is what prompted me to book at this location. The hotel was absolutely everything if not better than what was represented on the website.

not really a complaint, but the only thing that I personally can say negative- The staff does not have a way to see someone at the front desk or had a bell.. so when they are behind the wall doing other work, they dont see the guest that is standing there ready to check in. That was the case for me and one more guest. We had to speak outloud so that they knew we were there.

Everything was great from the time we walked in. The staff were very friendly, always welcoming you in. The rooms were great, we had 1 king room and one double queen room, they were very spacious and exceptionally clean!

I liked everything, we had no problems!

The check in process was easy and the stay was great, it was clean also.

The TV in the sitting area of the king suite didn't work and the bar closed early on Saturday night. I also would have preferred that the pool stayed open longer than 10 PM.

The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated and convenient to our destination and it seemed very quiet and secure.

Housekeeping staff was arguing and cursing in the lobby on the day we departed and my children felt like they were witnessing a brawl. Front desk staff was very apologetic.

The breakfast was sad! Not only did I have to pay around $8.00 for it, the only options were breakfast sandwiches. There were no other options, and it was VERY basic for $8.00. I would have preferred muffins, doughnuts, breakfast bars, etc. Whoever planned the COVID breakfast had very little imagination. The cost was ridiculous!

Location great. Did not have the breakfast. Beds was so comfortable.

Shower wasn't hot enough and there was no water pressure.

I had to book the room for my daughter who is a student at Auburn University as she had to take an 8-hour test online due to COVID and her apartment would not suffice due to noisy neighbors upstairs. The staff was gracious in letting her check in early as she had to be online by 9 am. They found her a room on the top floor at the end of a hall where she was least likely to be interrupted. The room was quiet, clean, and there was NO trouble with the Wifi.

The pool was still open which was great and it was so close to the state park! The staff was 10/10! Even though the kitchen was closed they still offered these breakfast boxes that had a bagel, cream cheese, and a hard boiled egg. They also set out a coffee pot, cranberry juice, and water.

I wish the kitchen and Starbucks would have been opened but COVID so what can you do.

The room was missing coffee and body wash and with one phone call it was promptly, politely delivered. The young lady who did out “check-out” was very helpful with a great attitude.

Missed having hot coffee served in mornings in the common areas.

No breakfast available and Starbucks did not have staff.

Unable to get breakfast that was stated in our on-line search. That is a reason we chose this hotel.
