The breakfast was helpful for our large group.

Some of the outlets didn't work in the rooms so we had to search for a working one to charge our phones.

honestly the beds were comfortable, The workers were amazing everybody was totally friendly!

there was nothing I didn’t like about the property the only thing is when I was in the breakfast room getting breakfast I had my keys and my wallet sitting on the table and my back was turned for a quick minute and a patron that was staying at the hotel was walking by and looking down like he was about to take it but I happen to turn around so he did not. again that is my fault for leaving it right there but I had only turned my back for just a second

I loved the spacious, clean room. Also, the bed was very comfortable. I could hear traffic but otherwise it was quiet.

I did not like that the door I was instructed to use that was closest to my room/car had NO luggage ramp! I am a single, retired female who has had 3 back surgeries. It was a pain to pull a luggage cart thru another side door that was SLOPED. I was exhausted by the time I unloaded my car! Also, the “key” lock on that door quit working. It would not open for me to get back in even with multiple attempts. Very frustrating!

I liked the fact that the room was very spacious and pretty much clean. The front desk operator was very nice and friendly and it was easy to check in

I found someone's sock in the bathroom which makes me believe that the room wasn't checked for cleanliness or mistakes in the cleaning process. Im a custodian and I just pay attention to the small stuff but it was overall clean.

The room was very clean and has clearly been taken care of. Breakfast was great and the staff was so nice and helpful. I was in town on business and they recommended some amazing eats.

The hallways and my bathroom counter are in need of updates, mostly wear and tear and some minor staining. I'm sure the property knows its in need of a refresh, so I can't discount my experience based on the limited time I spent walking the hall.

While our request was for the 2nd floor, there wasn't any available due to so many coming from LA due to Hurricane Ida. When a lady checking out on the 1st floor in 108 was leaving, I asked for the room before going to our room assigned at 319. However, mgr. said policy is they do not rent the first floor with pet. It was very difficult with a new 20# puppy American Eskimo first to an elevator, then to 2nd floor, then out to back door. He was afraid and we had to carry him all the way since he is not yet leash trained. We are ages 77,hubby heart issues 75 -me back issues & my sister with recent spinal surgery. I will book handicap next time. One suggestion for hotel is to remove toilet which is very low, a child's toilet in Rm 319 with at least a standard or tall. My sister and I had to use the doorknobs to pull up. All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel. Room was cool, very fresh, and comfortable beds. With the exception of above, it was a great stay. We had to leave early due to pup being sick, car sick, the whole time. Will re-visit hopefully this year, as we planned to go from there to the Smokeys. Thanks to LaQuinta for really nice room. Handicapped next time......The Newmans

Usually get 1st or 2nd fl due to pet and handicap room. Not available due to Hurricane Ida, we were grateful for any room to get out of the heat in Covington, LA and were looking forward to visiting the Smokeys, an unplanned vacation. But alas, will do another time. Suggestion: change the toilet to either a regular height or taller. The one in Rm 319 was the lowest I've ever seen, a child's perhaps. Would have been nice to have had breakfast. We were at the LaQuinta in Beaumont, TX when Covid first hit, and their breakfast was pre-prepared in sacks where you could request what they had. Perhaps, this became too burdensome for LaQuinta in Homewood, AL but Covid has ramped on, so probably the reason. We were Ok without.

my only complaint was the breakfast worker was basically standing over our shoulder as we was getting our breakfast as if we was stealing the food my 5 year old daughter asked me daddy why she just standing there looking at us and i told her i don’t know

It was very clean and comfortable at a very good rate.

The room was clean the beds were comfortable

I loved the location of the hotel, extremely convenient. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable.

The free breakfast could have been better. Breakfast started at 7, I went downstairs about 7:05 and the only thing left was coffee, fruit and dry cereal. I suppose when it's free it's first come first serve. I expected more, especially healthier options other than fruit.

I was charged a cancellation fee and not only did I stay I picked the option to not be charged for a cancellation charge, well you charged me anyway. I stayed from oct.5th to Oct.6th my name is Ashley Whitson , if this is not resolved then I will no longer bok through Priceline but no I will encourage all my colleagues not to as well
