La Quinta by Wyndham Cullman

The La Quinta is a quality, roadside hotel along our trip route. The facility is relatively new, well maintained, and clean. The rooms are standard size and comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood is safe - mostly other hotels. The included breakfast is standard fare and more than adequate for our tastes. Free coffee was available the rest of the day. Free parking, free wifi, and a swimming pool completed an enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

back door entrance was not locked, the magnetized entry was broken so the door was just left unlocked. We were exhausted from the first leg of our journey and drove into a time change so we were ready to rest before normal. There were lots of other visitors (spring break time) and it was loud through the late afternoon to late evening. It was fine after 10 with just the occasional slamming door.

The room was nice. It was easy to find. The coffee at the breakfast was great! I had the special blend. The fresh fruit was really nice. The orange juice was great! I liked the turkey sausage.

The bed was not comfortable. It was too hard. The pillows were too soft. The first da I s breakfast the powdered eggs were burnt. The second day. The eggs were scorched. We went out and bought breakfast both days. The housekeeper took the shampoo,conditioner and lotion out of the room and didn't leave anymore. She left new hand soap. The lotion hadn't been opened.

I loved how comfortable the room was and how safe the area is. One of the maids helped bring up my stuff because the elevator was broken.

The front desk manager was rude and ignored me when the elevator was broken . She was unprofessional in how she explained things to me. Didn't tell me the elevator was broken until I got all my stuff with my baby and paid. The luggage trolleys are dangerous and don't even work. How is a solo person supposed to travel without any elevator access or working luggage carriers ?

The location was great! I had to go to Cullman High School so the drive was maybe 10 minutes at most. I also loved the room size and the comfort of the beds. The noise level was also minimal considering other track students were there.

Having only ONE elevator can be a hassle but since there are not that many rooms then it isn't too bad. The breakfast wasn't anything special as it was the usual bread products, cereal, and powdered eggs. But it did meet my needs each morning.

We had our pups, so it was nice being on the ground floor close to an exit. The pool was cool, clean, and refreshing. The bed and bedding were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good! Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept.

The floor was dirty. The beds are too high off the floor. The refrigerator was not very cold and didn't see a way to turn it up.

Clean room, great area. Restaurants nearby and the free breakfast was a good bonus. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable.

They allow pets which I didn't mind as an animal lover that is until someone's dog kept us up most of the night barking off and on. They also put us right next to an ice vending machine so between that noise and the dog barking we didn't get much rest.

The hotel was the best I’ve stayed in since prior to Covid. The room and common areas were all very clean. I have noticed a dramatic change in service and cleanliness in hotels and really worry each time we stay at one due to both of those problems. This hotel definitely went above and beyond! The breakfast was excellent. It was well stocked and the breakfast staff were very attentive.

I cannot say enough about the staff at this location. Anytime I go through I love to stay at this location. They have the friendliest and most polite staff that I have ever experienced. From the front desk clerk, Heather, to the breakfast staff, and even the maintenance men they are polite and attentive. I have stayed at many hotels for work and personal from Ritz Carlton to Omni and I would attest this little LaQuinta could rival their staff in friendliness and helpfulness. I hope they continue their quality work. Thank you for all that you do to ensure our stay is the best!

I have nothing negative to report. If you stay here remember you are not booking a luxury suite at the Ritz but it is a neat and clean room with up to date decor. It is apparent the staff works very hard to maintain .

The room was very large. Beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was spacious and clean and had plenty of hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices and the coffee was good for hotel coffee. Hotel was within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and fast-food places and it was a short drive to the downtown. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Everything was wonderful.
