Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mobile - University Area, an IHG Hotel

Everything was great. The staff greets u when you enter the building. The location is very awesome and quite. And I will definitely be staying there again.

The breakfast that was included with the room was good, and the coffee was always hot. The hotel staff were in a constant cleaning mode, so this facility was really clean.

There were a couple of negatives.....When we checked in the front desk staff person was impatient and did not provide any information until I asked for some specifics. Next....When you need something for your room you have to get if from the front desk (towels, coffee, etc....) and this was a pain since I stayed for 5 days. You room is only cleaned and re-supplied after 5 days. These items should have been delivered to the room. Lastly, the room had an accessible bathroom with grab bars in all the right locations. The problem was the that the bars were in a shiny stainless steel that were extremely slippery.

People were friendly, the room was nice. Breakfast was good

Would have been nice to have gluten free dairy free options for those with food allergies. I booked the room with what booking.com called a spa tub and paid extra for it. The tub was the same as all the rest. I think booking.com should refund me some money. I would have rated the value higher if Booking.com didn't trick me.

The location was accessible to the University Commons (USA) and AMSTI Sidney Phillips Dr. The breakfast was nice. I am not big on breakfast.

The price of the room could have been lower than it was ($165 per night) and it would have been nice to have an ice machine on the 3rd floor so customers don't have to go to another floor for ice. I do not like the fact that snacks must be purchased at the front desk and you can only use a card to purchase items. A vending machine would even be nice or at least allow the customers to pay cash for the snacks/drinks at the front desk.

Really appreciated the cleaning staff they did a phenomenal job the facilities smelled and looked clean throughout. Like some hotels hair on beds or floors was a big issue after bringing my own cleaning supplies I realized unlike my past experiences at some other hotels this cleaning staff actually did their job. The kitchen crew was also stellar. They would refill missing items up until the last minute and were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks all! Will make sure to keep this one on our list.

No extra towels in the room had to ask at front desk. Rooms got very humid if a/c wasnt down low.

The room was huge, roomy, and gorgeous. My room was located on the 1st floor, I was able to look out my window and see my vehicle which made me feel safe and comfortable. My fiancee and I were extremely pleased and blown away by how amazing the room was. We had a King suite and the bed was so freaking comfortable and we both slept like new born babies.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that because of COVID they weren't offer linen services until after checkout. So, that meant if I wanted my bed changed and fresh towels I had to change them myself. My room was a King suite, so changing a King size bed took me a little longer than I expected.

just what you would expect of a good hotel of that type: clean!, fresh light design, great room, orderly clean gym, nice breakfast area, solid breakfast. Breakfast staff was constantly cleaning and filling and thoughtfully taking care of everything. They obviously know their stuff and have their quality processes in place. Congrats, Holiday Inn! Fair price - good value.

I could introspect a while and come up with something minor but…I was really happy staying here.

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived and they didn’t have our booking.com reservation. They were quick to accommodate us anyway for the same price. The breakfast was very good and had lots of choices. The rooms were very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The pool are was very clean!!All of the staff was very friendly.

The people next door were very loud up at 3:30 am yet the morning we left but we know that’s not the hotels fault.

Breakfast offered was a good variety, and the breakfast staff was very attentive.

The check-in receptionist was not friendly. Several guests, including our party, were having difficulty checking in. We booked two rooms and only one showed in the system. I showed our reservation, but there was no apology or concern. We had to rebook our rooms and were charged a higher rate on one even though she said she would honor the first rate.

All of the staff were friendly and so kind. They made sure that we were greeted at the door. They were attentive to all guest, not just my family. We will be having many more visits here. My grandson is a student/athlete (football) and we will have 4 years to enjoy the great service given. Thanks to all who made our stay so enjoyable.

No complaints whatsoever! It was an amazing visit from beginning to the end. If all hotels were this nice there would not be a need for this section!!!
