They say they want to operate in a sustainable way, which is super greaat, but they use styrofoam plates and plastic utensils for breakfast. I would advise that styrofoam is not sustainable. I also wonder if they could somehow offer shampoo, lotion and conditioner in small containers that are not plastic bottles. Maybe even plastic pouches (kind you tear open) might be slightly more eco-friendly. My room was clean but floors in one elevator wasn't clean and there was spilled pet food in the stairwell.

Used water cup in the room from previous guest or housekeeping, lack of coffee packets, only one provided in the room, there should at least be two or each kind, decaf and carinated. Only one creamer - sugar packets. We were not told on security hold of $100 the checking in time, just that we will need to have credit card on file for incidental. But logging into the credit card I found that there was additional $100 authorized on my card. I was explained this next day morning when I inquired. Them all had originally only charged for the room, but then refunded that and put additional 100 to the room charge amount and reauthorized. It would be nice to know of this exact amount when checking in.

Location and price. Decor was nice looked recently updates and lobby nice and clean.

The bedside tables had sticky spots on them,.they didn't not appear to have been wiped down between guests. The carpet felt sticky / damp like it had been either very recently cleaned and not had time to dry or residue left from cleaning. Just kind of gross feeling when walking in bare feet which I don't do often in hotel rooms but it was even noticed when in sock feet. Breakfast was typical hotel type free breakfast, did have waffle maker, eggs and link sausage.

Loacation was good. Breakfast was excellent. A large variety of hot & cold breakfast items. It had plenty of food for guests & the employees kept it full during breakfast hours.

When checking in the lady checking in took a phone call & stayed on that call & left us waiting to get our rooms & we had been on the road & we’re tired. She was not as friendly as she should have been. The other employees we encountered were very friendly & did their jobs well & were friendly.

We enjoyed the friendly service and quickness to change our room, due to the smell of smoke. We enjoyed the hotel because it was dog friendly, and had a dog park conveniently right outside on property.

I paid extra for breakfast to be included and we really were looking forward to having our morning bacon on the menu. So I would encourage you to please add that next time. I would have appreciated also, if the property refilled the poop bags but luckily we didn't leave home without our own to accommodate.

Yes very nice place staff friendly and my room was amazing. You don't have to spend 350 for a room to enjoy yourself.

TBH I can't complain this place was classy and simple. However one thing I didn't like was after I booked my room through booking and paid for my room. Apon arrival they charged me 100 holding fee plus the charge already paid for the room! ( That's my spending money ) So it looks like a paid 310.89 for one night. Until they remburse me the holding 100.00 and 110.89 and the charge for the room. La Quinta owes me 210.89 for one night stay.

The location was close to everything. Our room was really nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the Continental breakfast served was super nice. Other than a few minor things we would definitely stay again if in the area.

The staff at checkout was definitely friendlier than when checking in. Check in was at 3pm and we arrived about an hour beforehand, we were told in no way could we check in early so we went shopping and arrived back at the hotel at 2:50pm. Still I had to stand at the front desk along with several other couples behind me until a few minutes after 3pm before the lady would start my check in process.. Also they had a sign saying keypad at the pool did not work (which is kind of dangerous in case of emergency and someone needed to get help quick)to let you back in so when you went out you had to walk all the way back around through the lobby wet to get back to the room.

The room was nice, clean and exactly as described on Booking.com. Breakfast was included in the room rate. Location is excellent, central to all areas of Mobile and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. The property accepts pets, but the lady who checked us in was kind enough to ask if we would like to be on a floor with no pets, which I accepted and appreciated.

The breakfast was not great (e.g. rubbery flavorless scrambled eggs) but on par with similar priced properties in the area. Better than no breakfast at all, but nothing to get very excited about.

Room was very clean and modern, especially for a pet friendly room. I wouldn’t have known other animals had stayed before us which is a big plus for us. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had a lot to offer. Parking lot was safe and lit up. We were only there for 1 night and left early so didn’t get a chance to check out the other amenities. This location was the best La Quinta we have ever stayed at besides the oceanfront one in Daytona Beach, FL.

Apparently the vents are connected to other rooms so we were awakened by the smell of smoke and then the room filled with cigarette smoke. I walked to the bathroom and the vent in there seemed to be where the smoke was coming from. I kept the bathroom door closed most of the night but all of our things still ended up smelling like cigarettes. I did call the front desk to let them know that one of the rooms nearby had someone smoking in it since at least 2 of the rooms would have to be fumigated. After a 12 hour drive, were very happy to have a nice, clean room until a rude traveler began smoking in their room.

Bedding smelled like rotten bleach. Evening staff gave us a hard time about checking in. I rented the room, but my boyfriend paid for it. She said she needed to see me before helping him. He felt discriminated against. He felt he was being treated as a black man. His card was the one on file. I know she was just doing her job but we had recently stayed in new Mexico and Texas where actually my card was the one on file and they never questioned him when he was checking us in.
