Clean, somewhat easy process

Due to some sort of technical issue my booking was apparently showing “cancelled”. This did not cause an issue at check-in but however caused an issue in the middle of the night when an employee entered our room around 4am seemingly under the impression that the room was empty. Everyone was super nice and apologetic but it could’ve been much worse since we were basically asleep when a stranger entered our room! I didn’t love the $220+ price tag when it’s not in the most convenient location to downtown. But, it was a last minute booking so, I did what was necessary.

I love the room and that a family of 4 can comfortably stay in them.

Facility was very clean. Staff was very kind and friendly.

Lots of street noise throughout the night.

The kitchen was dusty.

I like the room size and the amenities.

I have stayed at numerous hotels this year and there is a significant increase in hotel rates, but the service has suffered tremendously. It is blamed on Covid, but your employees do not wear masks to protect themselves or anyone else. I am told to put my towels and trash outside my door, but the housekeepers didn’t pick up everything. I believe containers should be on every floor for towels and trash. I also believe towels should be delivered to the room, because it’s difficult carrying my belongings and towels simultaneously.

The location was perfect to all restaurants and other venues within the Tuscaloosa area. The breakfast did not accommodate guest that did not eat beef or pork outside of the eggs (which I don't eat either). The variety of food was not accommodating. The staff was very nice and provided the guest with a smile and continued to assure there was something different for the guest to each day in the lobby. (i.e. a different riddle displayed, popcorn, give-a-ways, etc.)

The room was very spacious. Not like you would expect of a room at the price I paid. The bathroom as well. It was stocked with just about everything one would need in case they forgot to pack something. My daughter forgot her shower cap and she was very pleasantly surprised to discover ya'll had one stocked as courtesy. Bravo! The room was exceptionally clean. It smelled... well.. it didn't smell. The beds were clean and comfortable.

The only thing... well.. if you can even call this a dislike... and I probably shouldn't even mention it because everything else was so perfect. The chocolate milk I got at breakfast I believe was soured. That's it. Ya'll absolutely NAILED everything else.

The location is great, not far from all sorts of food options, shopping options, as well as not very far from the interstate. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Probably the easiest hotel internet I've ever used and the front desk was great.

The placement of the television in the room was a little strange, depending on which bed you were in it could be real hard to see. Not a major issue though.

Location good. Ease of check-in/out good. Breakfast good. Staff very personable, happy, and welcoming. Room comfortable. Bed comfortable. Spacious bath.

Glass barn door didn't allow for much privacy (sound), plus the lights inside bath are bright coming through the door to disturb sleeping guests. Several of the outlets in the room were either too loose to use for plugging in our electronics or didn't work at all (desk lamp area, floor lamp outlet, lamp at bedsides, and reading lamp on outer side of bed).
