Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Phoenix Airport, AZ

I had the best stay at Country Inn & Suites thanks to Lisa, who helped me check-in. I was checking in after a long, frustrating day of canceled flights and call after call trying to get another flight booked for my travels. My priceline booking was not showing up when I arrived at Country Inn & Suites, and yet despite this not being her fault, Lisa went above and beyond to get me checked in and ensure that I had a restful, relaxing stay. I will definitely be booking directly with this hotel in the future, mainly because of the exceptional experience I had with Lisa!

I dont usually review a place, but since the minute I arrived, it was one of the best places for the money that I have ever stayed. The staff, everyone was exceptionally polite, professional, and helpfull. Whoever is in charge of this location is on the job. The reason I dont know who that is, is because I had 0 complaints. Keep up the great job here.

The only thing that I would address is management needs to address getting into the building without a room key. I am travel savoy, but the next might not be.

I got a room in a desperate situation. 11:30 pm connection flight cancelled with everyone on board. Told to come back next day.

The fact that I booked a room at that hotel through you, gave cc info, got a confirmation # and when I finally got there, they said they were overbooked. That was after 12:30. Many passengers slept on the floor at the airport. I took a chance. Why do I get an email from you that says room confirmed when it is not? I was very lucky last night because the clerk remembered that one customer had just cancelled their room. I got that room, but the other 10 people behind me probably slept on the floor in the lobby. This should not happen. If there are no rooms, your site has to say that and save people from driving around the city for no reason. I was very lucky, but still not very happy.

Easy check in and check out, clean room and bath. Loved how huge the shower was. We made a last minute reservation and the room was ready when we arrived. Comfortable bed. Seemed a bit small compared to the hotel room we had been in for the last three nights, but that was not a Country Inn and Suites.

front desk clerk told us (and other families) that breakfast would be available at from 6-10:30 even though the signage said 6:30. Then breakfast wasn't even ready at 6:30, but the prep person was new. I couldn't get the printer in the business center to work, and asked the gentleman at the front desk, but he basically ignored me. I have already complained to the hotel management.

Good breakfast and convenient hours. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free cookies in the evening was a nice touch!

We stayed on our way to, and our way back from our vacation destination. The first stay, there was hair on the bathroom counter and in the shower - perhaps from the cleaning staff, because the room was otherwise clean. On the way back, the toilet was VERY low to the floor - like a mini kid’s toilet.

There was no breakfast, just muffins,bananas,oranges and the items in the shelf said pay and serve. The area was clean. We usually stay at Residence Inn and they do provide a good breakfast and its included in our pkg.

We had 2 rooms, I had asked for 2 queens in each however it was a king and a sofa in each , there were no linens for the sofa,I tried to call shortly after we arrived with no answer (called twice) I then walked down there,she said she was eating. the maint guy did however bring our linens to the room and went for ice and water for us, he was tipped also. Also turning on the sink the faucet broke off it looked as though glue was on it. , leaving water running,I called and she did send a guy there to fix it BUT we actually had to change rooms.You could tell a few things had been left undone,not sure if the filters were cleaned in the a/c heat because we all got a sinus issue after leaving next day .

Staff was amazing. We stayed one night to be loser to airport for a 6 am flight. They made us wonderful breakfast bags to take on plane since we wouldn’t make the free breakfast and also coordinated taxis to get us to airport in the morning since their shuttle wasn’t running yet. Also helped us with coordinating taking our rental car back the night before so wouldn’t have to do that at 4am. Very happy with staff!

Standard rooms and hotel. Doing some construction but didn’t effect the stay.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. It is near the airport and convenient for many things. The pictures are representative of what you can expect. The pool is inviting and warm, people from warmer climates will find this to be a nice addition to this hotel. The staff were very friendly, even despite the apparent staffing shortages, which is not a mark against this hotel since there's staffing shortages everywhere you go.

There were some general maintenance concerns with this hotel. The pool had a significant accumulation of leaves, which the maintenance staff acknowledged they were having difficulty keeping up with because of the short staffing. Overall the maintenance staff are doing the best they can given the resources available to them, just understand that with the current times the staff available isn't adequate. Overall this hotel is a great stay, and I would certainly stay here again.

We like the breakfast, but I had to leave for work early so I only got coffee those mornings. I really appreciated the fellow that handed me a grab bag with an apple, bagel, granola bar and a yogurt, that set my day off right. Thank you.. Coffee was delicious..

The air conditioning in the room makes it kinda humid, but it was very comfortable, we love staying here. I wish there was a way to stay long term there.

The property was clean and had nice amenities on site. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good and it offered different options daily. The shuttle service was great. The pool area was nice.

Overall this is a modest no frills hotel. It’s a good value for the money but the decor and area grounds are quite plain and basic. Nothing fancy by any means. Other than the pool area there was no outside garden or courtyard where you could sit with company and enjoy the outdoors. My mattress wasn’t very comfortable but they did give you an extra bed pillow.
