Definitely a hidden gem among US71. If you are heading into Texarkana from the north and plan to spend the night, save yourself some cash and stop here instead. It's only 30 minutes outside Texarkana, and the price for the quality is outstanding. Yes, it is a small motor motel, however the inside truly will surprise you. Updated furniture and bathroom, DirectTV, wifi, and a much quieter atmosphere then staying in Texarkana. I stayed in Texarkana back in October, then had another trip this past weekend and decided to stay here instead, mainly for the price. I will definitely be choosing this as my go to motel when traveling to Texarkana.
Couldn't really complain about much. The shower head was probably the only part of the hotel that really showed age. Everything else about the hotel was nice. The bed may have been old, not sure but it was comfy regardless.

Very clean, large room, big TV, nice bathroom, great location, in-room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker.
The only thing that we were not happy with was the very firm mattress. Not comfortable at all and we had a hard time sleeping on it. The check-in host could also try smiling once in a while and make an attempt at making guests feel welcome.

Did not look like much. Looked run down but staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. Beds very comfortable and shower was excellent. Do not judge this place by the outside appearance.

The mattress is just a tad bit to soft for me, but I still slept well. No plug for the tub.
