Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Texarkana

The location was secure and convenient off of the interstate. The parking lot was well lit and east to view from most of the rooms. The staff was polite, knowledgeable and graceful in their duties. The 50$ non refundable pet fee is completely reasonable and affordable. Will recommend this hotel to all travelers.

The fees for pets were not posted. In fact I was uncertain that the hotel would allow pets until I checked in. The only information I received regarding pets was from third party reviews.

I didn't get to eat breakfast but everything else was really great. The hotel is very clean pool is open and heated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I told them I'm disabled the got the almost next door to the pool which I used slot. Asked for extra towels and was given. There's no smoking in the hotel and location is kind of hard to get to but google maps to me straight there just go with that.

I liked that the swimming pool was available and they are close to restaurants for food. And the staff was so friendly and helpful. The maids were very friendly and helpful the next morning also.

The staff here were AweSoMe!!! We were greeted by Dee at the front counter. Dee made sure we had everything we needed and more!! ALL of the staff acknowledged us with a smile and asked how our stay was. We travel a lot and have stayed at several places over the years. I have never ever been treated as AweSome as we were treated here. Our room looked just like the picture. Our rooms were clean, Air conditioner worked, beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was hot, and had a variety of things to choose from. Would highly recommend Fairfield Inn!!!

Google maps had location wrong. Staff said they were unable to have it changed. Pet friendly fee for our 10lb dog was $50.00 for all pets plus tax I thought was excessive.

Tyrone, who was on the desk, went out of his way to be helpful. The beds were very comfortable. It was helpful to have 2 chairs in the room.

I would have loved a hot tub after driving for hours. The location is awkward to get into if coming from the east and after going to eat.

Decent room, fairly comfortable and staff addressed problems quickly.

Upcharge for pets was $50. That's pretty high. I get that some people ruin traveling with pets by letting their pets pee/poop in the room and those people suck. Now the rest of us who are responsible pet owners and take our pets outside for all their business have to pay high fees to be able to travel with our pets.

The hotel was new and featured memory foam mattresses and windows that opened. Free WiFi. They were serving a full breakfast with omelets and offered fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs in to-go containers. Great for sharing with a dog. The room was quiet - there was some traffic noise since my room faced a highway and I had my window open. I arrived on Sunday and they gave me a little treat bag with cookies. For signing up for their loyalty program they gave a $15 discount on the $50 pet fee.

Nothing to change - except without joining the Fairfield loyalty program the pet fee is $50 - I paid $35 for my dog. I wish there was a dog loyalty program - once you prove your dog doesn’t do any damages the pet fee should be waived. And if you do have damages you should be charged a penalty.

The Staff was great!! The rooms were pleasing and very clean and comfortable. The food was awesome as well. I encountered one of managers at the property when the key system was down and your manager was very friendly, professional and very helpful. It is so refreshing to see managers with all of these qualities. Because of this stay, which was my first time; I will always book at this hotel when I am in Texarkana, simply because the staff knows how to treat customers and make them fell at home.

We had an AweSome weekend at Fairfield Inn and suites!!! The location was perfect, close to everything!! The staff were friendly, everyone acknowledged and smiled at us. Dee, the front clerk, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!!! I definitely recommend!!!

I chose to stay here because it had an inside pool. But it was so hot in the area, and the water was so warm, it felt more like a sauna.

Newer property. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast was excellent. All the stuff we dealt with were helpful and pleasant no matter the time of day.

Curtains don’t close so it’s a little bright with a car dealership just off property. And there was a bit of highway noise but earplugs took care of that.
