Comfort Suites Texarkana Arkansas

Breakfast was your typical American hotel breakfast. The beds were comfortable, My family enjoyed the pool. The rooms were clean, and it was in a good location for our travels. It's in a good location to area restaurants.

I can't really remember too much about anything being bad. The only thing I believe is the traffic and road system in Texarkana. It is very confusing to say the least. Our grand daughters forgot their swimsuits, so we had to run to a department store to quickly buy them new ones. It was easy getting there, but confusing getting back to the hotel.

the floor we stayed on smelled like someone just smoked weed and our room seemed to have been the source. it stunk horribly. we called the front desk to move rooms but there were no other rooms available. we asked for the room to be treated and the receptionist said she would look for the spray. my husband went down after we did not hear anything from some time and ran into the lady in the hall and she was headed to go hang out with her friends that had arrived at the same time as us and said she couldn’t find the key to the store room. we were able to talk to management the next day and they ozoned the room and that took care of the smell but we had to sleep the first night in the wretched smell.

Over all my stay was pretty good. Loved the front desk and cleaning staff. Check in was seemless. Location was perfect. Room was clean and a great size.

Breakfast staff wasn't pleasant. Not customer friendly, complained about people not cleaning up after themselves. She was on a smoke break during busy time, just after 8am. Food had gotten low and we had to find her. She did replenish quickly but people doing regular things seem to be a bother to her. She touches most guest and should change her demeanor and attitude. Room smelled a little musty. Slight mold smell.

The hotel was located behind a couple of other hotels and was difficult to see from the road. Otherwise, the lobby was clean, friendly, and nicely laid out. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the simple way the room was split into a sitting area and a sleeping area. The breakfast area was well laid out and well attended. And breakfast was a choice of eggs, bacon, waffles, ... This was a very nice stay and welcome after a long day of travel.

The only thing we did not like was not being able to see the hotel clearly from the road. Perhaps a message like `we are tucked in behind a couple of other hotels` as part of the reservation would help. This is a minor thing and we will stay at this hotel again, because everything else was really nice.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable.

On a positive note, everyone was very pleasant. Everything seemed a little unorganized. Check-in was a little aggravating. It appeared as if there was going to be a function (involving all the personnel employed at the hotel) and every bit of attention was placed on that. We could see the room being fixed up and everyone(including the cleaning team was doing that instead of making sure our rooms were ready.(our room was not fully stocked-we had no cups in the room) After 3pm check-in time the front desk was having to call to see if our room was ready. We had a wedding to be at by 4pm. It took 5 people 30 minutes to get the lady in front of us checked in because her pet-friendly room on the back side was not ready.

Our stay was fine, but unlike the last time we stayed, the staff was rude. We waited to be checked in for at least ten minuets and never saw a single soul. When they decided to come out of the office, they didn’t greet us, they made it feel as if it were an inconvenience to check us in, and they stated our room number aloud. was very disappointed in the service

Room was large and spacious. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, and sausage. Staff was very helpful. It would have been nice to have someone at the front desk continuously instead of having to wait for someone to come to the front desk.

The rooms were a little dated and had a slight musty smell. The vent in the bathroom was very rusted and needs to be replaced.

Breakfast was disappointing. I appreciated the fresh fruit and yogurt, but I found nothing else appetizing and went to a local restaurant. The room was attractive and the shower was adequate but needed more water pressure.

The mattress was not comfortable but the linens were pleasant. The sitting area (couch, chairs, etc.) was not appealing or inviting but I didn't need to use it, so it was irrelevant to my stay.

The Waterpark being across the street was perfect. It was what brought us there. The room was so homey and my son loved it. We had more than enough space. The staff was so sweet and helpful. No complaints from us! We will definitely be back

The pool area was under construction and the hot tub was blocked off. He was looking forward to both. But that's okay because it was still great.

I liked the large room and that it was ADA assessable. Both parents had walkers and it was much easier getting around than in the regular size room. The mattress on the beds were very comfortable everyone got a good nights sleep. Really enjoyed the waffles and bacon for breakfast. The person working the breakfast that morning was filling in for someone. She gave excellent service and was very personable and friendly.

The bathroom was very dark. ADA bathroom needs better lighting. The stand up lamp next to the sofa and desk was not working and a light was out over the coffee area.
