The rooms are nice and roomy, the bed was comfortable and well appointed. However, we found several bed bugs which managment closed the room immediately upon notification. If you book a room here be prepared to pay an extra $100 in addition to the room rate billed at the time of check in. It is refunded provided there's no damages to the room. That is a detail that isn't revealed prior to booking a room.

There's a $100 deposit charged to your credit card at check in that isn't revealed during booking.

great staff. cool vibe. many nice extra amenities like a real coffee mug vs a paper cup. shower caps and lotions etc. dog friendly and a rubber dog mat shaped like a bone by the front door for food or water bowls. comfy bed. a semi remodel with newer bathroom tile and a new shower head.

looked like the bench in my room had a broken leg so I wouldn’t sit on it for fear it would collapse. also the wall behind the front door had pealing plaster. otherwise one of the nicer places we stayed at.

This hidden gem had a lot going for it. It was super comfortable, just off the road, and it was decorated beautifully.

Curb appeal was slightly off-putting because of it being an older building and also the amount of large items (ie RV, boat) being off to the side where parking is. This is no way detracted from the great stay.

Good size room, well equipped (coffee and tea making facilities, large fridge), very comfortable beds, strong WiFi, clean, good shower, great location for the Ozark national forest and Pig Trail, ample parking space. Over many years of visiting various parts of the USA, we have stayed in many motels. This was easily one of the best.

All good

The room felt very clean. We really appreciated that housekeeping came in each day and replaced the towels, emptied trash...etc.... We have been to hotels this last year that are short staffed and are not doing that when you stay multiple days. Love the location.

The property grounds is starting to look shabby. If I were just driving by and didn't know anything about the hotel I probably would not stop. It appeared owner or staff cars were parked in the drive thru at the front door and we had a hard time finding a place to park so we could check in. The office had a foul odor that smelled like bit like a wet dog

The location was great. Right along Hwy 23 at the bottom of the Pig Trail. The hotel is older, but the rooms were clean. The linens were clean and at some point the bathrooms had been retiled in the last couple of years. The one employee I met at check-in was very friendly.

There was a lot of excess "equipment" parked around the hotel and in the guest parking stalls. ie: backhoe, car trailers, cargo trailers, work trucks, that never moved. It is almost like management was storing their personal items around the hotel. And what I can only imagine were personal vehicles parked in the same spots everyday that never moved. I understand that it the owners prerogative, but it "junks" the place up.

My Zeppelin tribute band performs at the Byrdfest festivaal (Byrd's Adventure Center) just up the street every year some time in September. I always stay at the Oxford due to it being about 30 minutes from Byrd's. I have never been disappointed in my stay. The rooms have been updated (I have been staying there every year (once annually) since 2013, and they did a nice job. It's comfortable, clean, and efficient with a microwave and fridge. I like this place.

There are just some small details now that need to be touched up in the rooms, like the floor board coming loose...tiles cracked, etc.

It was a family owned and operated hotel and they were very friendly and helpful. It's in a quaint small town at the foot of the Ozark mountains.

It's no 4 star hotel but I knew this before booking. Met my expectations for a small town hotel.

The room was super clean, good rate and newly remodeled, furnishing, bed, aircon are almost new and in good quality and condition. John the owner and her daughter are super friendly and very helpful with lot of local info such as Reed mountain park trail, St Mary Church for sunset, Ozark natl forest/ Whitaker Point trail, Wiederkehr wine celler, Post winery, hillbilly hideout, pigtail scenic byway. We highly recommend Oxford Inn.

our room is facing ar-23, so can hear car drove pass, but again it was offset by the comfy bed, so overall was good.

I was travenling by motorcycle and was looking for a cheap motel that would accommodate basic needs, the room was great and it worked out perfect for me. Thanks Oxford Inn!

I booked the room because of the closeness of the Burger joint right next door, its out of business so that was a bummer but has nothing to do with the room or motel.
