Best Western Bishop Lodge

The room was very nice and the location was fine, staff is very friendly.

I did not like the false advertisement on Booking.com of a quadruple room with a living room, when i got there they said they did not have rooms like that and they did not have a room for my pets which luckily we decided not to bring at the last minute, the advertisement said they did. The hotel attendant said they should have told us to call first that they only have certain rooms for pets and they were sold out. I will not be using this site again for rooms because that would have been awful if i could not have gotten a room. And how horrible would it have been if i was conducting a meeting in a room i expected to be bigger and more accommodating.

first floor room since we had a dog. easy parking near room entrance. breakfast room was cheery with helpful attendants.

we were adjacent to the ice maker outside our bedroom wall and it was noisy when in use. some late night revelers slamming doors aroused our dog. there were no safety grab bars in the tub/shower to assist easy in and out.

Our pet friendly room was ready for us after a tough drive. It was on the lower level making easy access to the small grassy pet area where disposable bags were available. However there were smokers on the bench there and no sign to limit smoking on the premises. Wifi was free and easily accessed.

Although the two beds were comfortable they are rather squeezed into a room better sized to accommodate a single king. So exiting one side was tricky at night. The pool is skimpy and not very attractive.

There’s plenty of parking space and the beds are comfortable. It’s located close to different places to eat.

You can hear the people walking and coughing above you. But I feel like that’s just something you have to deal with in any hotel.

The location and staff were great. It is right off of the Bishop main street. Staff is super friendly and informative.

Room we got was “Quadruple Room” for 4 adults. Pictures showed 2 beds, a couch and looked to be very spacious. However what we got was a tiny room that barely fit 2 queen size beds. Felt the room was a bit pricey for the high cost.

Location was very good and it was quiet at night! Good WiFi.

Bed mattress was way too soft. TV control had to be held under the TV for it to work.

Hotel was in a good location and had ample parking. There was no street noise. The room was small but had everything I needed and was very clean. There was a desk for working and a table where two people could sit. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

The staff member checking people in could have used some help because a lot of people arrived at the same time. Their computer system was really slow which also exacerbated the problem.

Room was spacious and affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had everything we needed and more.

Beds were a little more firm than my wife would prefer however they were fine for myself.

When I pulled in and saw the outside I was thinking I had made a huge mistake, but after getting in my room I was surprised how nice the room was. They really should consider remodeling the outside and lobby. The bed was comfortable, bathroom modern , and I love that it was wood floors and not carpet!

The attendant at the front desk was superb. The premises were clean and room was well-stocked.

Booking.com was the problem. I'll never book another hotel that uses your group. I needed to talk to a "real" person as there were 3 groups and we needed to have rooms next to each other. Never could get to someone. I did get a reply that said "pending." When we arrived at the hotel, no one had any idea of my request. We are part of a much larger group that was scouting out a road trip for approx 15 cars. Poor service the booking end.
