1) Staff was very professional, friendly, and aimed to please; 2) The room was clean, spacious, and contained just the right amount of furniture (besides the large, comfy king bed), for eating meals/snacks, completing business paperwork, and placing misc. important items within view.

The motel is under renovation - so when I first pulled in I was a bit worried about what my actual room was going to look like/be like. Once given a key & shown to my room - Phew!! everything was cool. Staff reassured me that if I needed anything just to call front desk.

This is the nicest motel in this little town of Bishop. They have renovated everything in the room. Giant TV, fridge, & microwave. The room is super cool with led lights. The room was clean. I will never stay anywhere else

Well to be honest they were not finished with the pool. But I loved everything else

I really appreciate the lady at the front desk - she was super welcoming and kind. I appreciate her friendliness and explanation for the leaking pool. I just hope the motel can get enough money, contractors and a good pool company to make it lovely again. My room was in a quiet corner and even though I locked myself out, she was able to open it for me and I found the key. The room was fine. It is a good base for cyclists wanting to ride up the side roads of the Eastern Sierras. It is also a good location for the excellent pharmacy nearby. I can recommend the Paiute museum just up the road, as well as the Laws Railroad Museum - which is much more than a railway museum (in fact it's a rather poor railway museum compared with the ones in Sacramento and York, UK) - but it's a terrific folk and local museum. Bishop is a good base because it is much lower than Mammoth - so if altitude affects you - this is a very good place to stay. It is off the main road so in a quieter location than the many places on the main road - 395.

I stayed at the motel many years ago - how it has deteriorated. Swimming pools wear out and the pool was leaking - so the pool was shut and I was unable to swim. Many years ago there was breakfast in the little room at the end of the swimming pool, but this time no breakfast was served there - unfortunate as I remember the breakfast was quite good for a motel

We've stayed here for years and it's always a pleasant stay. It looks like they are massing some significant renovations. The rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Maybe someday the pool will be opened. Several years ago we were informed that there was a leak, so we imagine it will be a huge job and just may not be feasible. Shower stall a bit small but great water pressure and nice hot water

Room had been just refurbished all new appliances and fixtures. Beds very comfortable. 55 inch tv with a menu that you could understand. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Nothing except the swimming pool was under construction and a sign saying open during construction which probably indicates that all room refurbishing isn’t done yet.

Charming lady at check-in, really clean room, great mini-fridge with separate freezer kept ice packs frozen, tile style flooring is clean. Lovely 3 night stay on Labor Day weekend. Nice lower cost motel. We stayed 3 days for work. Nice coffee maker, good shower, good microwave, TV remote and internet were a bit fussy. The proprietors cleaned the windows and they sparkle! Super hot days and the AC was on when we arrived, the room was pre-cooled-very appreciated.

The updated rooms look terrific. Location is wonderful and the value is incredible.

Not a big problem as they’re working on it but the exteriors under renovation I didn’t know that when I booked the room. Looking forward to the finished project.

I like the fact that the beds were nice and firm but not hard like stone. I’m 6 foot 8 and the bed was very comfortable for my height. In addition we liked the fact that the freezer and fridge were separate. The added bonus of the disposable toothbrushes were nice.

I didn’t like the height of the shower head.

It was quiet clean comfortable and close to wherever I need to go if anybody is familiar with Bishop they will learn that linne road is much easier than main street for getting back-and-forth through town

I hope the pool is open next year

The bed was excellent and the room was spacious with a view of the mountains. This hotel is a few blocks away from the main traffic corridor and is calm and quiet. They provide a bbq area and the outdoor ice machine area is covered with its own microwave and toaster. It is well located and a great value.

There was a minor sound of water running in the toilet, but they fixed it as soon as I let them know.
