The hotel is not quite in the city center proper but still very close by. Even though the railway is close the noise from the train did not bother us. Staff was very friendly, we had a long stay and they upgraded us to a cottage without us asking. Free comfortable parking right in front. We went during Picnic Day at UC Davis and there was no loud partying nearby. Advice -- if you stay longer, get the paid cleaning service at least every 2 days.

The cottage was the one closest to the staff entrance of the reception and in the morning we could not open the blinds because everybody could see us.

The lady in the check in counter is so helpful, we checked in around 5pm on Oct 15 Sat, and we requested that we will be checking out late on Monday and she accommodated our request, There is always coffee anytime of the day actually its Starbucks coffee. Again when I'm going to grab a cup of coffee the same lady in the counter told me she's going to brew another one because the coffee might be cold already, but the coffee is still hot so I just said no need to brew another one for me. She's awesome!!

super clean and the King Suite was amazing, very comfortable bed. loved the outdoor patio i the late afternoon

not the property’s fault, but the restaurant venue across the street played live music on Friday (until 11:45 pm) and Saturday ( thankfully ended at 10:15 pm) a warning would have been appreciated.

The front desk staff were awesome. Always friendly and helpful. Perfect location for enjoying downtown Davis and UC campus

Advertised free breakfast but there isn't. Seemed a little humid and close. Need better air circulation.

The room was spacious, well appointed and very clean! It would be an excellent choice for an extended stay as there was a separate area for TV viewing should your partner want to turn in before you.

I did a Sacramento airport search and this is what I chose. Not being from the area, I did not realize it was a solid 20-25 minutes from the airport. Not horrible at all, just a mild inconvenience for me. Totally my fault for not mapping the drive time once I selected this hotel. However, that being said, I might even stay again under the same circumstances as it was such a nice stay.

The bed was so comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The room was clean because I usually get a stuffy nose anytime I stay at a hotel but I didn’t this time so that tells me it was clean and no allergens. The general manager was personable and front desk staff friendly.

No pool, no hot tub, no smart tv.

Great central location to downtown, campus and Arboretum. Boutique hotel was a plus.

Would be helpful if staff lets us know that daily cleaning is not done unless you stay minimum of 5 days at check-in.

I like that it was super close to UC Davis campus for my son plus it was close to everything with restaurants and activities. The hotel was clean and room was spacious. First time exploring Davis and we all had a great time. Definitely will come back!

Some part of the floor was uneven that it literally shook the room.

I wish they were offering breakfast and were cleaning the rooms daily. It seems like they still have some COVID protocols in place which are no longer necessary.

Great location. In the village but across the street from UC Davis. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. The suite is perfect for parents traveling with students - privacy without needing another room.
