In my specific situation, I’m a “on loan Neurosurgeon” (I reside in Coronado, CA), who gladly accepted a specific case involving “Auto v Pedestrian.” Due to the large influx of visitors to SD County, our medical group wasn’t with many options so to secure an overnight stay in the No. County of SD, yet they found lodging available at the Hacienda Motel. With personal hesitation regarding staying in that given area, I requested a different property, yet to no avail. . . Fast forward; Checking in was immediate, the room was any and all I required, and the “Hosts” were both gracious and, accommodating. Any, yes, I’d stay at this property again!

The area isn’t an area that you’ll expect a “Neo Renaissance” to occur too soon, yet transitional!

Location was ideal for my needs. Bed was very comfortable.

The lighting was a little inefficient in parts of the room, mainly at the table by the front window. Not the best for reading. Also, no electrical outlet at the bar countertop. Finally, the bathroom countertop was practically non existent, no place to put things except on the toilet tank.

There was no breakfast or other extras. Had to leave a cash security deposit in case of damages. Never had to do that before and have never damaged or left any messes when staying in hotels or motels. Not happy with the price increases. Won’t be traveling as much anymore.

The place was very clean but nothing extra at all for the price. Paying a cash security deposit. Price is too high for not having any extras. I don’t even think they had ice! After cleaning the room they hadn’t left another roll of toilet paper so I had to go ask for a roll the second night.

Conveniently located to essential services and shopping. Good cable menu and effective air conditioning. Decent parking availability though the spaces were a bit narrow.

$50 refundable cash deposit (for what? A remote? Wall art?) OR by credit card which takes 5 to 7 days for a refund to clear.

The host were amazing and friendly. Perks were a drink and snack upon check-in and coffee upon check-out. The room was bigger than I had expected and it was quiet even though there were no vacancies. Lots of food options nearby and access to highways. Most importantly, the room was SPARKLING clean. The bathroom, bed sheets, not a speck of out anywhere.

The rooms are dated, but it's all cosmetic; didn't affect the stay at all.

Location provided easy access to 78. Office person was friendly and when I inquired about coffee in the morning, he made some and called the room when it was ready both mornings. Room clean and well maintained.

No coffee pot in the room(personal preference).

Hacienda Motel staff were wonderful and I felt right at home. The motel itself is clean and has lots of parking. Very close to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

Nothing to complain about. I had a great experience.

Being completely honest all the hotels were booked up and I was forced to stay here however the staff was the most polite and genuine people I have ever meet normally I stay in La Jolla or ocean side but this little low budget place won my heart I would refer hacienda to royalty.

Staff were very friendly. Price was fantastic Room was clean and tidy Had fridge, microwave and air conditioning

Remember to have cash on you as there is a $20 holding bond, I think it's to ensure you return the TV remote. Just suprised me,, not a disappointment.

The motel was perfect for what i needed. I will book again when i have a meeting in Escondido.

There was nothing I didn't like.
