location was great for our activities. Proximity to restaurants, grocery store and other stores was good. morning breakfast cafe was excellent. Towels at pool were clean and plentiful. lady at check in was very polite and clear.

Hot tub each day had cigarette butts all around it. paint on wall by hot tub peeling off. Bathroom tub dripped and could not be turned off. Silly to pay extra for parking that could not guarantee safety.

We did not eat breakfast. We are plant based therefore there really wasn’t anything we would eat aside from fruit. Besides the price was rather expensive, especially for a piece of fruit. Unlike the less expensive place we stayed last year which offered a decent selection of food for free, this is one area we were disappointed in along with being charged $15 a day for parking.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating my every request without hesitation. Excellent customer service from every department. Even tho the building is old, the room was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff in the dining area so friendly.

I felt the front registration outside entrance needed a real good washing and hosing down cleaning, including the front windows. It was very dirty and the trash can hadn’t been cleaned ever. There were bits and pieces of debris everywhere, Not the manor of what I would consider as a good initial presentation for guests.

The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean. What I really loved was how quiet the rooms were. The accommodations were excellent! When I come back to San Diego, I will stay here again!

I think they need to expand the fitness area.

Nice, spacious, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, free wifi. Everything was nice and clean. The pool and hot tub looked nice (though we didn't have time to use them).

Room bathroom looked a bit dated. Also, you only get bar soap for the shower/bath? Might be a cultural thing but in Europe we stopped using bars of soap in the 90s. Not sure who prefers a bar of soap over liquid soap? View from my room was onto a dumpster in the parking lot. Breakfast was a bit basic

The hotel was clean and well kept. We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning and it very good. The room was nice and comfortable as well.

The staff was a little snobby at the front desk. I felt like they were looking down on me. The only complaint I have about the room is that the bathroom did not have a fan in it. It got really hot in the bathroom when trying to get ready after a shower. We had to prop the bathroom door open. It would have also been nice it they had more luggage carts. When we were leaving there was not one to be found anywhere on the facility. We had to take multiple trips to our car.

Our fan in the bathroom did not work The Kuerig was dirty The window, baseboards and nights stands were dusty could have been wiped down better.

The hotel was flexible to my needs. I requested an early check in and it was accepted.

Wifi stated it was not a trusted source so I did not connect. We called before we made our reservation to see if we could get an early check in and they said yes. A few days before my arrival I called to confirm my request for early check in and they said it was not guaranteed and to call again the morning of my arrival. This was not explicitly stated that it was not guaranteed when we called earlier. I called again at 7:00 am as requested to obtain early check in and they stated it could not be confirmed, but I would have to call in a few hours to confirm my early check in. When I arrived they didn't say anything about my early check in and I was able to check in early, but I had to call 3 times just to confirm my early check in..

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. The room size was very spacious and we did like the coffee bar in the room.

There were no blankets in the room. We had to ask for one. There's only one chair in the room for reading. You are now charging for parking, which you did not do in the past.

Everything was clean, the area felt safe and clean, the employees were exceptional, wifi was fast, bed was comfortable, the renovated rooms are beautiful, spaciousnesses, house keeping, kitchen staff, many options for breakfast, amenities of the room, Next to many restaurants and shopping centers, easy freeway access—-Overall HIGHLY recommended! This is my new go-to hotel whenever I visit SD!
