Breakfast was fine, location was good. Room was well appointed, and the whole property was spotless. Well done to local staff.

We did not like the virtual check-in. It was our first time encountering a remote check-in clerk, and it made the experience very impersonal. It was not the fault of the clerk, he did his job professionally with a background similar to the actual desk at which we were standing, but the following morning when we made a query via the screen the person who answered, again very professionally, was located in the Philippines. It was all a little too much Brave New World.

The electric car charger did not work (the Half Moon Bay tourist site says you have EV charging. Better change that) No glasses in the bathroom. If you use the coffee cups for the bathroom, then you'll be using dirty cups to fill the coffee machine. Not good. The EV charger did not work.

Lovely staff, clean, breakfast provided and a handy location near to Half Moon Bay shops/restaurants which are around 5/10 mins drive down the road. We actually came here very last minute having had a bad experience in a lodge in the Santa Cruz mountains and this was a very welcome change from that! We are just grateful they had space for us!

I felt safe and pampered there. There was always friendly staff around to help out and answer questions. Our service dog was even pampered with treats and acknowledgment. We will come again if in the area.

Although we didn’t need our sheets changed and beds made each day we did need towels and garbage dumped each day. That wasn’t done. However when I approached the hotel maid she was very accommodating.

Nice hotel at the edge of Half Moon Bay. Good location for overnight stay on coastal highway drive, with breakfast provided on site. Very helpful lady at reception on check-in.

Nobody staffed the front desk in the morning. Guests have to talk to an off-site employee via computer monitor. No invoice/folio could be printed for the room, just an e-mailed receipt (seems cheap for this level of hotel).

Location is great, hotel very clean, breakfast good.

I hated the automated check-in machine. One of the things I liked about your hotel was being greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. I was also not happy that my room key card was deactivated 30 minutes before the 11:00am check-out time.

We checked into a different hotel right down the street on Friday evening. Upon walking into our room, we were pretty disgusted with it based on the price we paid. Just placing our hands on the bed, it was like touching each individual spring. We immediately looked up other options and found The Aristocrat was just right down the street. It was almost $200 less than we paid than the original hotel and I was pretty skeptical. We ended up making the reservation since it couldn't be as bad as the place we first checked in. The Aristocrat is basically a Best Western that has been named and decorated to go along with the theme of the English Pub next door. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious enough for us and the bathroom was a massive upgrade from the first place. We were thrilled with our decision. On top of that, the pub next door is pretty awesome.

Very very clean! Room was wonderful, comfortable. Bathroom very clean! Staff was very helpful & polite.

Wish it would have had a continental breakfast, not just a grab & go. Thou, what they did have looked very good, we only grabbed muffins and milk.

Everything was kept topped up. Selection of Tea bags. (Not everyone drinks coffee...) Great selection of breads. Brown bags for take out breakfast a GREAT idea! Lovely fresh bananas and oranges excellent. Loved the fridge for the yogurt , butter , juice etc.

Close enough to beach access. Availability of good food within the premises (Cameron’s Pub -Did not get to try the other restaurant.) Breakfast was great! Lots of healthy choices -cereals with milk, cereal bars, fruits, good fruit juice brands, pre-packed muffins, yoghurt. Very convenient packaging. We brought our breakfast to the beach.

For the price we paid, I was disappointed to see “old” towels being used in the bathroom. Will send a picture of a towel directly to hotel management. Time to upgrade and get new towels.
