No ability to speak to someone on site for questions, emergencies or "personal tips" about the local food, events, entertainment and additional locations of interest. (We sent a question about the possibility of securing our bikes on the property prior to departing from home but never received a reply. Also, a fire alarm was going off in a vacant room below our room for hours one evening. Voice Messages were left on the contact info from your website. Thankfully the issue was later resolved however a courtesy call back would have been appropriate and appreciated!)

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Got vouchers for breakfast at local cafes, which was decent. There was plenty of coffee, snacks and apertifs on site. It was a beautiful location, but not exactly "sea view" as described. I guess you could see the ocean way off to the side! I'll trade that for the beautifully manicured grounds where you could just sit out and unwind!

The staff was friendly and helpful, but they weren't always present. We couldn't find anyone when it was time to check out.

It was lovely and the staff was very kind and helpful and went out of their way for us. The community areas were so comfortable and beautiful and the room was so nice.

Booking.com said we had a view of the sea but this property is not near the sea and as far as we could tell no rooms would have a view.

Gorgeous flowers all throughout garden/front. Bathroom mirror exceptional. Niceties in bathroom (like cotton wipes, Qtips, soft/plush towels). Wine and cookies at night. Walking distance and close to town. Loved the tile on fireplace in sitting area and paintings of inn.

Surprised by coupon for breakfast blocks away and not at inn. Bakery (from coupon) was good for breakfast but stood in line 25 minutes. Booked room showing canopy bed. Cute bed decor but not the canopy shown by booking.com promo. Had Queen with couch bed. Couldn’t figure out how to pull out couch bed and no one on property to help explain nor pillows for it, etc. Hot in room at bedtime but no fan (booking said there was a fan) and unsure about safety of leaving windows open all night on main floor. Couldn’t find anyone to check out or thank. Very cute, quaint, clean b&b but just not the “wow - a 10” previous comments led us to expect.

Absolutely outstanding inn. My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our three-year anniversary, and it exceeded expectations! There was an incredible woman who checked us in (I forgot her name) and showed us to our room. It was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. We were absolutely blown away. From the atmosphere to the location (walking distance to great restaurants and local shops). We both told each other we need to book another stay ASAP!! Do not hesitate to book - it will be the stay of a lifetime!

Customer service was excellent! I mentioned that was our 20th wedding anniversary and they provided a handwritten note and flowers to welcome us! The location was easily accessible to a lovely downtown area. Love the city. It is similar to Carmel without the attitude. Dog friendly!

1. 1 ply tp? Splurge go for 2 ply. 2. Tvs and cable needs to set up prior to arrival not after a few hours of frustration. It is just part of the hotel industry. 3. No breakfast in house.

The location was right next to popular restaurants, bars, and shops in town. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. There were several comfortable outdoor spaces to relax on premises, with beautiful plants and flowers. There was complimentary wine, sherry and cognac. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They demonstrated a lot of care for us enjoying our stay. Bathrooms were luxurious and clean. Had a good quality free breakfast at a nearby cafe (10 mins walk).

No complaints - place was beautiful and relaxing!

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! The description plainly says one king room with a SEA VIEW! Our view? THE BACK LOT OF A CHURCH AND A GRASSY PASTEUR!! We explicitly rented this room based on the description provided. Deeply disappointed upon arrival, but what could we do?

Katie was the highlight of our stay! Upon arriving, she had a fire going in the hearth in the main lobby with coffee, snacks and sweets, a few bottles of wine, a decanter of brandy, and lots of sparkling and flat water all all ready and available. She also provided us with two space heaters for our room as the fireplace in our room was not working (due to a blown-out breaker). She was super knowledgeable about the area and had wonderful recommendations for places to visit around town; she even offered to make dinner reservations for us on our second night in town which we took her up on! As for the room, it was so charming! We especially loved the large bathroom with its claw foot tub, and slept like babies in the comfiest king size bed. The grounds have a beautiful, manicured garden, are quiet and private, and walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown!

I was pretty bummed that the fireplace in our room was out of service, as well as the outdoor jacuzzi (due to COVID). These were two amenities that I specifically was looking for when I was searching for places to stay in the area. In the end, it was okay, but I do wish I had known before my arrival.

The room was huge and gorgeous! We loved the enormous bathtub! It was great having a refrigerator, television and being so centrally located in Half Moon Bay. We loved the whole vibe, and the complimentary brandy! It was so fun to walk down to Main Street and have breakfast at a local cafe.
