Embassy Suites La Quinta Hotel & Spa

Our king suite was spacious, modern and clean. There were plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. We had a nice view over downtown La Quinta and the beautiful mountains. During our 9 night stay our room got cleaned twice, which was absolutely sufficient. The included breakfast buffet was a big plus and offered a good choice of hot and cold dishes. Another bonus was the daily happy hour with two complimentary drinks and little snacks, like corn chips with salsa or crackers with cheese.

When we booked the king suite it said on the room description that it had a balcony/patio. This sadly was not the case. Initially disappointed we inquired regarding a room upgrade since we were staying for quite a while (9 nights). We were advised that changing to a balcony room might be possible once more rooms became available after the weekend. In the end we did not bother as we liked being on the top floor and liked our view. Since there is definitely some misinformation, it would be good this would be revised.

The breakfast and 5:30-7pm two drink per person happy hour was great! My 8 year old son loves having breakfast here.

1) The room I booked online didn’t match the room we got and I was too tired to say anything and just took what they gave us. (no patio and our view was to the parking lot). 2) We booked this hotel because of the advertised game room. My son who was celebrating his birthday was very disappointed. It kept us from booking elsewhere. 3) I also booked here because “EV charging” was supposed to be available. I have a Kia Niro, and the two chargers were Tesla only. Had to spend time at a gas station that charged me for parking and to charge. again another detail that kept us from booking elsewhere.

Over all is nice. I just need recipe for me to get reimbursed from Hilton Grant vacation but since I book it with booking.com. No one can give me an itemized receipt. Don’t know why. I made several calls but both companies keep telling me is other party responsible for that. I don’t get it. Why is so difficult just print out or email me an itemized receipt. They are trying to make it as difficult as possible for customers so you can’t apply for the reimbursement or they are hiding something

Room was very spacious, quiet and clean, but with obstructed view (2nd floor). Breakfast was tasty if not limited in variety, but the made-to-order omeletes were a nice surprise. As were the complimentary drinks offered every evening! Pool offers a welcome escape from the heat. Lots of free parking available. Quite a few restaurants in La Quinta within walking distance from the hotel were great and affordable dinner options.

Outstanding breakfast buffet...high quality ingredients including made to order omelette station with ample room for seating. FREE parking and NO JUNK FEES.(IE resorts fees scam) Located across Old Town La Quinta where many restaurants are found within walking distance, Rooms are large and comfortable suites. Overall, a wonderful experience. I plan to stay there again next year. Also has electric car chargers on the premises .

Fast Check-in, very clean room with all the amenities that we needed - extra blanket and pillows, coffee pot, refrigerator, etc... Breakfast was great and served on time. Coffee Pot in the room made 2 cups at once! Our room even had a large porch, 1 of only 4 on our side of the building! Hotel has a pool, and even a small but cozy library.

Driving in: the route to the office once you got to parking lot was not well marked since you're coming in basically from the side and back of the facility. Our only other complaint: The staff did not tell us that the rooms were cleaned only every four days - we spent quite a bit of time waiting for maid service so we could get clean towels, only to find out from one the maintenance men that we had to go the front desk and request them!

Breakfast was great Coffee in room was very good Staff was very pleasant

Pool security needs to be better Observed a non guest showering and washing with shampoo and reaching for his privates several times then left thru a side gate there were no guests at the pool at this time I did make a report to the front desk could not call the front desk button did not work on room phone

The hotel and spa was beautiful. Staff was very polite, respectful Very clean.

There was 2 lights out in bedroom the bulbs were bad. I could not read my Bible even with my glasses on was very dark. I even turned switch on wall on 1 light went on but other did not I tried everything for 2 days.

Embassy suites for the most part a great places to stay.. the included breakfast per covid was fabulous.. now it is somewhat limited but OK. The location was beautiful and the property as well..

room.. a/c was soo noisy. had the engineers look at it but it really never was not a huge presence in the room.. sounding like it was on its last legs.. Also the smoke detector was blinking red about every 10 seconds.. I mentioned these two things to the front desk when checking out..

The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, there was a small buffet breakfast included. They also offer complimentary cocktails and beverages in the lobby for a couple hours.

I didn't like the pillows. We had 4-6 pillows on our bed and they deflated when you laid your head down. The sitting area was separate from the bedroom. The AC in the bedroom did not work as well as in the sitting area. There was also no fan in the restroom which made getting ready after showering too hot.
