Great place to stay in Culver City! The staff were really attentive and helpful, the bar/restaurant were great and our room was small, but comfortable. The space is cute and trendy, but with care put into the details (lovely amenities, nice bedding, etc). Adding a note that the staff were great in accommodating my request to move rooms (see note below).

The first room they put us in was basically in the restaurant. It was crazy loud and the windows opened into the bar. Thankfully, after speaking with the staff, they moved us to another room far removed from the bar area and that was lovely. But be advised that some of the rooms on the first floor are quite noisy and the only window in the space opens to a public restaurant. Valet parking is also crazy expensive ($48/day), and while I don't know that this is specifically the hotel's fault, something to note if you have a car.

First off, upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by Faith. She was smiling, friendly, and engaged me into a nice conversation about my travels and about the hotel and its restaurant. She was outstanding! The hotel is located just across the way (a few minutes walk) to the City Steps and Culver City Studios. It was great to be able to have a French Bakery, Philz Coffee, and Mendocino Farms all within a less than 5 minute walk. There were LOTS of other choices as well in the area, including the restaurant and bar in the hotel. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. We are so happy to have found this special place!

It would have been nice to have a few of the snacks be complimentary. We didn’t use anything but coffee (which was indeed complimentary), but that snack basket looked awfully good!

The location is perfect if you're traveling to Culver City. I loved the bar and restaurant area - part of the restaurant is outdoors with trees, which makes for a relaxing meal. Breakfast: I never thought oatmeal could be so good! Coffee is excellent. The service is spectacular. These people work so hard. Sarah and Becky were standouts. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is - everyone from the restaurant/bar staff, front desk, kitchen, room cleaners. I felt welcomed and cared about during my stay. I hope to be back someday!

Note these are minor issues: occasional smells - maybe from the carpet? Also, noise from the school (garden view room). If you're trying to work from the room, both can be a bit disturbing, but definitely not deal killers

The location can't be beat if you're visiting someone in Culver City. The restaurant and bar downstairs are delightful unless you have a room on the first floor The parking attendants couldn't have been nicer allowing me to park infront of the hotel after the valet was closed.

This the second time we have stayed there and BOTH times the hallways and room smell musty... a bit moldy. I have to say that by the end of my 2 day stay, I felt congested and was definitely not ill... it was the environment.

The drinks and bartender were great! Morgan was so nice and helpful when we checked in and also Tyecha was the night front desk staff and she helped us so much with getting to our car. The breakfast was excellent also, I would love to go back to the restaurant!!

The parking sucks!!! You have to either pay $48 or park 3 blocks away. Also the vallet hit our car and we were told this happens often. The heat didn’t work in the room and the lights were very confusing.

Nice boutique hotel very well located. The room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

The deluxe king room is small for 400usd a night. We were in room 111 just next to the restrooms so if you have a light sleep, you will hear the restrooms music the whole night long. There is no street parking and the front door lady didn’t help us to find one in the neighborhood to avoid 45usd from the one of the hotel.

I love a clean hotel with friendly staff and this hotel did not disappoint! Centrally located in a nice neighborhood and accessible to everything Culver City has to offer! Beautifully appointed room with a well stocked mini bar, fabulous restaurant as well!

Our lock slipped on our courtyard entry and one of our lights was wonky, but easily rectified and did not impact our stay.

Room service, bathrooms, bed, Simonette, close to Culver City restaurants and “steps.” Also, I enjoyed the cute decor and little unique touches throughout,

That we were told to pay for extra nights through the internet, even though we were standing at the front desk. This caused more stress, confusion, work, with phone calls to front desk. That they didn’t take our filled-out breakfast menu from the door, prompting us to call to make sure our breakfast was coming on time. Food was a bit cold, and there was nowhere really for two to enjoy the meal in the room, so we had to eat hunched over our laps on chairs. French-pressed coffee was subpar. No prices on the in-room snacks…

Cozy, friendly, chic vibe. Room was on a smaller side but it has everything you need. Bed was very comfy, shower was warm. AC works very well, and I like how they have baby-proof windows. neighborhood is quiet and safe. Staff were very friendly and there was no hassle getting clean linen and bath supplies.

Our room faces the inside garden, but every week day after 9 we can hear the nearby school’s PE lesson instructor talking over the speaker. so if you want to sleep in, this might not be a good choice. Also the power went off for our room for ~10 mins. This happened 3 times during our stay. Wasn’t too annoying but it’s something that shouldn’t happen.

Location, Nespresso coffee maker.

Rooms are very small with no storage: no drawers, nightstand or room for 2 pieces of carry-on luggage in a closet. Needed to ask for luggage racks. Needed to ask for milk for coffee and coffee pods but lived the Nespresso maker. Can see into toilet in evening when bathroom light is necessary.
