Upgraded from Standard King to Deluxe King for 2nd day of stay - definitely worth it. Our arrival was way before standard check-in time so planned to just leave luggage but room was unexpectedly ready at 11am. Also when we upgraded room next morning we were able to switch about 11am. Very accommodating service! Really loved the velvety seating area in deluxe room.

1. Disappointed the bar and restaurant are currently on pause. 2. Had an issue trying to get car out of off-site parking structure early morning. It is a municipal lot that’s supposed to be closed 2am-5am only but was still closed at 5:45am.

there is no breakfast there is still no restaurant which used to be amazing. the location is the primary reason to book the hotel if they are not offering full services. paying an ameneties charge when there are no amenities is annoying and a deterrent to staying there. we love this hotel. without full services is a huge drawback culver city restaurants are allaround the hotel which helps. and the decor and history are always a plus

see above. no restaurant even outdoors. used to be so wonderful there with the live music etc. being charged for amenities that are not provided is a huge problem

As always, the overall look of the hotel and the history of the hotel. I absolutely love how luxurious it is. I was grateful that the staff (Jose, who is mid to evening shift) allowed us to roam the hotel in areas where they use to be bars and entertainment. I also loved the complimentary wine and that it was unlimited (pro-tip for any of you who like your adult beverages a bit sweeter, have them mix the lemonade with the sparkling white wine). Also, the little ghost adventures that we encountered was a highlight too. ;)

I was crushed when I saw there was no restaurant due to the pandemic. I did see on their site that they were going to reopen 1/32/22 so I thought when we went (Feb) that it would be open, but it wasn't. I was also disappointed to see they were not serving breakfast either. When I stayed at The Culver in the past, the breakfast a lone was so worth the cost!! So, of course I was sad that I was paying more and not getting that amenity. I understand the reasoning but still. :( I appreciated that they put the effort in as if there was going to be dining, but I felt like a ghost living in the past. Cheesy as it sounds but true.

the decor, the fact that it is a historic building. Enjoyed the restaurant as well.

The breakfast. For starters coffee was terrible and the fact that on weekends there was nothing available until brunch at 10:30 not acceptable. If you have something available it should be quality!! or not to have it at all!!

The facilities are super clean, high end finishes, lovely and helpful staff.

The neighborhood is lively, but the windows are single paned, so that late night free screening of a movie on the street at the nearby cafe felt like it was in our 6th floor room. Also, for the price, the bed could be better - they’re a little soft.

Gorgeous hotel and good location with cute shops around.

The parking was not ideal, if this hotel had a valet it would be perfect, but you have to park about 200 yards away on the second floor of a parking structure which is inconvenient.

The location of the hotel was amazing. And it also felt very safe. I always wake up early, before my fiance, and when I did I spent the morning exploring the surrounding area (on foot). The gentleman that checked us in was very nice as well.

It was very expensive, we knew it was going to be since we were paying for a slice of history. But I don't think the price matched what we got out of it.

To plug in my computer, I had to get down on my hands and knees. Power outlets at table height would be great!
